another bird headlight idea

what if you got an extra set of blinker housings for a firebird. cut out the yellow part and replaced it with plexy glass and put a headlight bulb in it. then just put it in next to your blinkers and molded it in. it would be the perfect height. the only problems i see are heat and not enough vertical light. what do u think?

I believe what you are talking about has been done. Take a look at RedRaif's car (I think the name is right) and see if that is what you are thinkin about.

I also believe she tells how she did it too. (either on her webpage or on here).

It wouldn't project light correctly and it would melt anyway. However it IS a cool idea and can be pulled off using narrow rectangular fog lights to get roughly the same visual effect.
