Hard to keep clean!

I probably sound like a clean freak here, but just about EVERY damn time I clean up car really good it rains or I drive down the street and run into some puddle of water and ruins long, hard cleaning I did. I wash the car very good and all aroound wheel wells and etc all the time so the car looks factory new, but where I live in Miami, there is just constant showers and idiots running their sprinkler's in the street getting my car all dirty again in a day or two. I also like to call my car "truck magnet". I drive in bumper to bumper traffic to and fro work daily and I am usually the fool who gets the 18 wheeler or dump truck next to me on the highway and can't seem to get away from them. This drives my nuts! Andy 2-1991 Firebird formulas' very good condition

When I first bought my car, I wanted it clean and looking like new all of the time. With the weather, that meant washing at least 2-3 times per week. And at the time, I was happy to do it. Now, with constant rain, and crappy conditions, it can look like crap sometimes. I just washed it on the weekend, now with the little rian we had, and road filth, it is already dirty. Just wish I had the time to constantly wash it.

I feel your pain. Basically either leave it in a garage covered and never take it out...or its gonna get dirty. I spent all weekend cleaning/doing stuff to my car and bright and early mon morning it was covered in tree sap =\ (ok well not covered by any means..but there was a little on it, and it gets on my nerves!)

This reminds me of when I bought a rather expensive toy, as a child, with the intention of keeping it in the box as a collector's item. When I told my father my intentions, his only reply was "What fun is that?"

I guess I'm just trying to say the only way to keep your car perfect is to never drive it - and that's no fun at all. As camarogirl18 said, we all know how you feel.
