Hey guys, what do you all think about that... Can't make my mind.
All opinions are welcome. (talking about the exhaust tailpipe of course).
Here are 2 VERY quick photoshops.

I like both. The only problem with the thridgen bumper is that it tapers up if you look at it from the side. There really needs to be a lower bumper panel to run an exhaust like that or it may look like it is to high up. Here is a pic of a center exit SLP exhaust on my roomates SS if you are looking for other ideas.

#1, hands down,it's just inherently gonna flow better because the pipes aren't gonna have to bend so damn much to wrap back around to the side of the muffler

I think number 1 looks good.
But, I'd imagine you'll end up with black soot/junk on your bumper...

I think they both look very good but if I were to do It I would use a 91-92 rear bumper and quarters as they drop down a little further than the previous models so they would hide the exhaust a little better
Neither of those will work anyways unless you want to take the rear bumper cover off and do some cutting to the bumper support underneath. Otherwise it will hit. And like someone said the tips might look like they angle up if not done correctly.
ok I made up my mind. Im going for #2, just because it's different and original I guess.
My tailpipe edges are angle cut, the angle is almost exaclty the same as the rear bumper so that would be a perfect fit I guess.
Now I just need to find a rear bumper cover at the JY! should'nt be too hard tho. Stay tuned!

there isnt enough space around the tips, wouldnt they melt your plastic bumper?? i mean have you ever touched your exhaust tip after driving around all day??

my exhaust stays pretty cool, not cold, but just warm to the touch...i don't think it'd have enough heat to melt the plastic, the wider tips should allow it to dissipate more heat anyway...just my thoughts, i don't have anything to back it up

I melted my old predator rear bumper because the exhaust was too close.
Be real carefull about spacing when puting that setup together Spike.

I like #2 better but like someone else said you will might have trouble getting those pipes turned so the tips exit out the center. I like it , just make sure the cutting of the bumper doesnt look like a hack job or it will look like all the cheap a$$ Rustangs whos pipes come through the bumper!

At first I thought #1 for the traditional dual tip look, but now I'm thinking #2 for a more "modern" look like the C5 Vettes.
