not sure, but i am betting it is around 20%.
i had 20% on my daily driver, and it was probly pretty close. not sure if the mirror on the inside makes it look darker though...

I know tint laws vary from state to state. Personally I would go limo tint all the way around. I did and I love it. Of course cops love it too, and are more than happy to give you a $50-$150 ticket for it! But they don't catch it unless they pull you over for something else.

hell i put limo tint on top over the factory mirror tint. the heat still gets through!!! damn texas heat. in hot 90-100* temps, t-tops do not help the a/c at all.
those factory shades do a hell of a lot to keep the heat out.....

If you think it's hot in Texas you should try Arizona!!! I've seen it as high as the 120's! And I have a Black car with BLACK LEATHER seats!

I would go with the ttop sunshade instead of tinting the ttops. You would still have the factory look and could still visibly look out the tops if you wanted to.

I have the tinted set for the summer in San Antonio and a clear set for the winter. I was in Yuma, AZ for a short time and needed the tint. Couldn't find any t-top shades at the time. Tint is still holding.

My C&C tops are a bronze/mirror glass, but i thought all t-tops were tinted glass.Either way heat does get in.With a black car/black leather seats/door panels.Shades are much better.Although i had to make my own since Ive never seen shades for the C&C t-tops...

I dont think you will ever find a set of shades for C&C tops. I live in Australia and I did come accross a set of shades for GM. I took them to an upholsterer and he made me a copy for my C&C tops. They have only just been made and I only have one problem. The only true method to hold them up is with a couple of supports from the center to the edge of the window. Until I find the right high-tension wire, I am using small bamboo pieces. We with C&C tops arent lucky to have that little support shelf near the center. I think the wire support theory will work. Any other people try something different?

has anyone ever striped off the tint on the factory t-tops, I would like to do this and put more on, but it looks like it is bonded alot better than "home" tint. I know the glass is smoked, but mine has a plastic film on it also, I am assuming that it is factory, but it has a few scratches in it.
