Big Block Hood Clearance

I was wondering if anyone was running a performer rpm intake and 14x3 aircleaner under a big block hood from ascd?

Transmission: T5

I'm running a performer rpm vortec intake with 1" spacer and 14x3 open element, under my ascd RAII hood. Fits fine with that no problem, however on my old tear drop hood it didn't fit, it tried to crush my air cleaner! But with my RAII hood it's fine, even with the 1" spacer added in.
