my wheel sponsor is asking for a picture to throw up on their site. since it's winter and i can't get a good one right now these are the best i have that accent them.
which one?
which one?
or 2.
1 accents the dish and shows the car off but 2 had the sun setting where the color starts to change helping the wheels to really stand out. mind you either one will be at a high res size so the wheels and everything else will be in full detail.

Hm... a close-up artistic "angle" shot would be so much better for this.. but... I choose number two, the wheels are easier to make out.

I liked #1, you can see more of the car. Just need to turn the wheel to the right a little to show the wheel better

the dish NEEDs to be seen... or it looks like the same flat 5 spoke everyone else makes.
but a pic that showed both, like if you took two steps to the right before snapping #1 would be ideal.

BTW Kandied, wouldn't 18's on 10's be cooler than 10's on 18's?

one because the brick wall makes the car stand out and 2 because they are really really high res so on the site they will look great. also remember that they will be cropped and as far as the angle they don't really want anything to crazy. i was told to shoot it that way....
o'well, thanks guys!

hey now i've been building my car for many many years and i've spent countless amounts of time and money on my ever changing mods that i'm due some return on my efforts.
getting sponsors for a thirdgen is one of the most hardest things i've had to do. any import or truck i could practicly build for free but these things are rediculous.

really.....that's the "bulk" of the car. i don't think there is any real bad side of a thirdgen, but if i had to pick just one side to look at it would be the side.

aaah, the vote that tilts the balance
I liked one best. angles like that tend to be more appealing to the general overal public than straight shots...
at least that's what I was taught by some teacher at some school :lala:

We gotta remember here that we are trying to show off the wheels. Overall, I like the first picture better, but the second one really shows people what they wanna see... your cool wheels!

1.
I would think the company doesn't neccessarily care if you can see the exact and entire wheel. They aleady I'm sure have pics of the wheel from the side. Number 1 shows how good they look on a car.

Number one
As much as number two shows off the wheel more as previously stated what they want is a pic showing how their wheels make your car look awesome. In pic one your car looks smokeing and the rims are a big part of that.

Jeff,
I don't like either of the pictures...those rims look like poo-poo!!!
ya should have stuck with the 16" wheels...that way i would have a chance of beating you at the shows!!!
J/K man!!!
Those rims are awesome...but i bet they would look much better on my ride though.
see ya in the spring
later

larry don't worry i've pretty much stopped working on her....i widened the rears, brought the backspacing to 6.75 in the rear so they line up perfectly and heavily modified the wells so that the larger wheels fit perfect with the air ride.

I think either would be good since you say you have really high res imagines, but the 2nd has alot more color in it... everything's darker, I like it standing out better that way, but like you said, it shows off the wheels less, you loose the site of the deep dish. The ground is a darker grey, your car is a darker red, the wheels are more silver/chrome/polished then the hint of orange from the sunset in the 1st pic(or is that my imagination?). Maybe darken up the 1st pic a little, work it over a tad?
small wheels
You are absolutely right. I have the same problem. I think on your car it is a bit worse, ecause you are running a tire with a smaller sidewall. I will lower my car (for the 4th time) again for half an inch, i hope that helps. But we both know the only thing that really helps are 19 or 20's out back.....
