Drove from VA to MD to get the hood from MDFormula350. Rough fit was pretty good considering I've heard a lot of people have problems fitting the ASCD hoods.

and no thats not bird crap lol. Remnants of a sticker that I have to take off.

Needs a little TLC from the bodyshop to make it fit perfectly, but fit my car damn good out of the box As far as the spring issue, with it being on the wrong side of the latch, I'm not even using the spring. The pressure from the gas charged hood shocks is enough to pop it up so I can open it

I'm thinking of paintint it white (duh) with pearl ghost flames on the cowl. The flames will have a slight red tint towards the end of the flame.....should look good when done!

That fits pretty darn good.
I am not using a spring either since mine doesn't have a provision for one.

yours looks to fit better than mine. One thing I've noticed with mine though - is that I think it is resting on the bump stops (I have the all the way down as well). I'm curious if shaving them a bit would allow it to settle more up front than what it is.

I'll bet yours is sitting on the bumps as well.

man that looks familar!!

yeah thats my mom's van, its ok i parked it close, because my car is parked too far back and the van's rear end was too close to next's doors driveway.

fun times, installing a hood a few days before x-mas in 60 degree weather!

nope there is another Ram Air 1 hood for sale. I forget who made it, but there is no ridge in the middle of the hood. The nostrils are also set back farther on that hood, where mine are close to the edge.

Hello That is a real good fit on your car. Sometimes we have problems with the fit of our hoods, that are not always our fault. Nice looking car. see ya Rex

That looks like a -GREAT- fit out of the box. I still don't understand why Jimmy wanted to get rid of it.
