That looks sweet man, thumbs up on that one. I got a pair of those for my 1992 25th last summer, just be careful of your local Po-Po because they don't like the blackouts too much.

What exhaust setup is that on your car?

You know how weird that is?? I bought my car last summer with these wheels on it. I've done some research, and I think that they are made by american racing. Do you have any pics of your car?

Yep, you got it! They are american racing AR-26 aluminum wheels. They were discontinued back in '98 though. I have a set on my malibu, and they have held up great! Looks great with bfg's too.

Those rims are sweet but i kinda like my rs ones gonna have the color insert and back powdercoated and the silver part of the wheel chromed. The blackouts sont really show the running lights in the day but the brakelights shine through good and at night everything shines through liek they're niot there i'll take some pics tonight and probally get them posted later on. The exhaust is a cat and 3" piping to a ravin muffler which i think i'm getting rid of this spring its a little too quiet for my taste. I'm gonna run a dynomax super turbo probally i had that on my bird and even the v6 was louder than this ravin is the tips are a 4th gen style. I had a bunch of pics of the system in the exhaust section.

So what really is the legality of blackouts? I don't know if I want them 'cause my dad tells me they're illegal, but it seems as long as you can still clearly see the lights beneath they would be legal.... but I dunno....

IIRC, for the rear tail lights, a person must be able to see the red reflectors up to a certain distance away, which you can't so that makes them illegal, here in Texas anyway. The fronts on the other hand, I would just say, it dulls the headlights quite a bit so that could be a legal issue as well. But that's never stopped me, I love em and only take them off to get an inspection sticker. Then, while I'm still in the parking lot, put them right back on.

hey stiers what blackouts are those and where and how much? Those seem like they wouldn't have as bad of legality issues, but maybe I'm wrong...

and I'm not worried about inspections hehe, I'm more worried about getting pulled over

Those are GTS Trailblazers for the Camaro. I got them off ebay for around $50 or so I believe. They are very rare, I looked for a month before I found the set that I got. The Trailblazer series was mainly for trucks but right before they stopped making them they came out with a Camaro version. I have NEVER had a cop have a problem with them. I got pulled over for having a plate in my front window instead of in the front and the douche wrote me a ticket for that but he didn't say anything about the covers.

I've had a few cops roll behind me around town and have yet to get busted for em although i did get pulled over already for my exhaust being a "nuisance" whatever the hell that means lol. Apparently out here you have to be able to see the brake lights from 150 feet away at night and they shine through liek they're not there at night but during the day the're a tad dim. But the cops that were behind me were during the day and the one guy complemented me on how clean it was. I actually had a kid driving by the welding shop today put a note on my car that he had a set of headlight blackouts for his convert then decided not to put em on and will sell em for like 15 bucks. Problem one being the front bumper has a crack in it from the last guy ruunning into something so i doubt it would sit right and ttwo do they scratch the pain? how do they attach
