Generic Rim question, sizing

Generic Rim question, sizing

Which on these will fit my 1988 Camaro??


1) 17x8 Polished 5 on 4.5 +38 mm 5 61/64

2) 17x8 Polished 5 on 115mm +38 mm 5 61/64

3) 17x8 Polished 5 on 4.75 +38 mm 5 61/64

none of them? *scratches head* the last one has the right bolt spaceing our cars have a 4.75 but the offset on the last one is still way too huge youre gonna need spacers for any of those rims i think

what is the correct spacing, so that i dont need spacers?

I kinda like those rims, but I wonder how 15's would look....

ok I think I've got it. I dont really know what backspacing is, But since this is a tech site, who better to ask then fellow owners???



So heres a pic of one rim, You lay a straight edge along the rim and measure up? From the part of the rim that faces the street, or the part of the rim that goes back into the wheel well.. Also what kind of Backspacing is normal to our cars.
I really am stupid on this kinda thing, So maybe someone can explain it to me in idiot terms???

our cars run 4.75" bolt pattern, with 0mm offset front and 16 rear, dont rememeber the backspacing tho.
