Hey everyone! I tried to search for pictures of Firebirds painted maroon with gold gfx, but I didn't find any easily. I'm wondering if anyone has pics of Firebirds painted up this way. My car is currently black with gold gfx, but I'm going to repaint it someday and I'm trying to figure out whether I should keep it black and gold, go all maroon, or go maroon with gold gfx. If I went maroon it'd be the 4th gen Maple Red Metallic, my dad's '00 TA is that color and I love it. Anyway, any pics or suggestions on paint schemes would be much appreciated! Thanks so much!!

Also, if I have gold gfx do you think it would look weird with nice polished rims? would silver gfx go better? Thanks again for any and all opinions!

Sure is a nice one. I think I remember seeing that one before, isn't it a '91 or '92 that's got an earlier nose on it? I'm thinking the maroon and gold might look all right, even with wheels that don't match the GFX. Keep the pics, thoughts, and opinions coming though

In my opinion your car would look great in all black, especially with new wheels in polished aluminum. but maroon looks killer to. I'm personally not real fond of two tone though. Just my two cents. Good luck with your choice and be sure to post pics when she does get painted.

 

I can't find any more pics out of my 200+ image library... I have a feeling that it's a not too common color scheme.
