What rims should i get ? can't decide.

I can't decide on which rims i want , i want to spend less than 1400 bucks for the rims , i think i'm gonna go with 18's , my car isnt a daily driver, just a weekend warrior. I'm would really like something like a boyd coddington rim, but i dont know. I see nice cars like kandiedz and crazyhawaiian and i love how thier cars look. I think i want the smoothie rims , in 18x8 front and 18x9.5 in the rear . I need help because i cant picture how my car would look with some nice rims, i mean i have photoshop but that doesnt help. I need some inspiration. heres ar pic of the car, whenever the car gets painted in 5 or more years, the paint is perfect so i dont know when , but when it gets painted im gonna have the antenna shave and all the side marker lights shaved. im gonna keep the paint scheme and the ram air hood. so keep that in mind.

Well first off if you want to get those particular wheels then i hope youre ready to dish out some dough, b/c Boyd Coddington wheels arent cheap at all.

fbody tim they arnt bad, do they come in 18's . as for the price on the boyd's they are 1395 + 50 for the 9.5 width. so not that bad for boyd coddington.

I think it's important to decide on a style or genre you want to represent with your car. Modern, muscular, sporty, etc. That was a crucial decision for me; I wanted something very modern, professional, clean, subtle yet oddly aggressive - the Z06 rims were the ticket for me because they fit the package of the car. The thick 5-spoke design like the one you're considering or TT2's are classic, and do look good. Some of the other designs like CrazyHawaiian's for example look more aggressive and sporty; the look hot and look like they mean business. Just some things to consider. I wouldn't go with something popular just because the masses decide for you, it's an investment that you really ought to be happy with, and the best part is finding something truly awesome that will break people out of the TT2 box

lets keep this thing goin guys. im looking for some new 18's as well. i really want boyds however if there are more rims out there that would fit and look just as good im all for them. im partial to Kandied91z's rims. i want a 5 spoke, highly polished or chrome. i really need help deciding and finding some that put my car over the top. here it is now.

OOPS: sorry for the huge pic guys. btw...the side molding is gone, i have fender vents on now, and the door locks are painted black to match the door handles.

No offense intended camarosrus, but I REALLY REALLY dont care for those rims at all. IMHO you simply cant go wrong witha good set of 5 pokers. I will probably get some 17" IROCs somtime down the line when I get a solid color paint job years down the road.

I am partial to this wheel,

Those are my brothers wheels and they will look like this on his car,

As soon as he gets some tires on them, I'll slap 2 on my Formula and then on my Trans Am and take some pics.
