Does this exist, or am I dreaming?
I was at the car wash the other day and met up with a guy who had a dark crimson Iroc. He didn't have the slotted grill like I have on my 91' RS, he had the bowtie with foglight holes gril (I'm gonna get one of those sometime soon to replace my old gril)
Anyway, as I am still somewhat new to all the options for camaros, as I just started looking a while ago, I don't know quite all that's available. He had this really sweet ram air setup - in the holes where the foglamps on that style gril should have been, they weren't there - he had this dual tube setup that vented the air thru those holes as he drove up into his carb's air cleaner.
My question is, was this some sort of option, an aftermarket add on, or a custom mod? And in any case, Since my RS is fuel injected, I couldn't vent this like he did, but I could vent it somehow to the RS's stock air cleaner, and really want to when I pick up a new grill.
Any sugguestions and lowdowns on what was going on with this guys car would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for that link David!
Now I know I wasn't nuts when I saw this.
I am a bit confused though- kretos, you say this came stock for you?
Maybe I should be a little more clear with what I have. It's a 91' fuel injected RS (I'm not sure if its Tuned Port Injection, sorry, I'm still new to all this, I'm not too good with engine specs in general, more of a bodywork/fabricator guy), and as such my air cleaner and filter is in a canister of to the left of the engine bay, venting into the engine via that angled black tube.
With this in mind, that I have no carb, so no air cleaner in the top center of the engine for the dual snorkel (I do know what this is, I've seen them before), is it still possible to do this with my car, and if so, has anyone here done it or know how I would?
Again, sorry for my limited knowledge on this. I just became a car fanatic a couple years ago and am still learning the ropes, and all about cars/mechanics in general. Just a young guy with a pathetic V6 I wanna replace, so thanks for your patience.

Found a pic of kinda what my engine bay looks like (take in mind my air duct is a squared duct, not round in this pic):

Taking into account those labels in the pic above just went with the pic, and have nothing to do with my question, here is what I think it is I would have to go to to do this as described in David's post:
