Iroc Turbo Hood

Just to give everyone a heads up so that I can prepare for the jar jabbing I will be ordering a ASCD IROC Turbo Hood for my convertible 84 Z28 Camaro. I have PERSONALLY always had a sweet spot in my heart for this hood and now I will finally scratch that itch before Rex sale end this week.

I have the same hood on my car and I love it. It looks so hot and there isn't anybody within a 50 mile radius that has one so that makes it even better! I took some metal plating that holes in it and put in the slots in the hood. It is a bad unit!

enough to run a 3" air cleaner depending on the drop built into the air cleaner base.

Will the Edelbrock Elite "Round" Air Cleaner fit under this hood?

Depends on (1) How tall an air filter it has and (2) the drop built into the base. I can't see the base, but i'd say yes, as long as you don't run a really tall filter. I put a standard edelcrap chrome air filter on a car with a iroc turdbo hood and it fir with a RPM intake and a 3" K&N air filter.

Here is the specs on the Aircleaner:
5 1/8 in. diameter neck, 14 in. diameter x 3 in. tall, Edelbrock logo, Elite series air cleaner. Will this clear the Iroc Turbo Hood. BTW: I'm still waiting on my hood from Rex Orr. I have not heard anything since last week and I think that they are on backorder. Hopefully I will find something out next week.
I see you are from Fort Bragg, I was there from 1990-1999 (1/504 PIR 82d ABN DIV.)
