Ram Air II Hood, Group Buy????
WONDERING IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN PURCHASING A RAM AIR II HOOD WITH ME, WE CAN TALK TO THE GUY AND SET UP A GROUP BUY FOR THE RAM AIR HOOD AND FUNCTIONAL AIR BOX. LAST I CHECK THE COMBO WAS GOING FOR $650, BUT IF WE CAN GET A GROUP A PEOPLE WILLING TO GET ONE, WE CAN CHOP DOWN THE PRICE.
IVE NEVER SEEN A GROUP BUY ON THE MESSAGE BOARD, WHICH IS SURPRISING BECUZ OTHER CAR CLUBS DO IT ALL THE TIME, THATS Y I WANTED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE ONE THING WE HAVE IN COMMON, THIRD GENS. I KNOW THEY PRODUCE THE CAMARO RAM AIR HOOD ALSO, SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED, SO MAYBE WE CAN GET THE BALL ROLLING ON THIS GROUP BUY

Id like to, but no thanks. I refuse to spend that much money without seeing proof that something has been done by the manufacturer about the fitment of these hoods. Ill probably just endup using a cowl now.

i was going thru GT Fiberglass, which was the original first made ram air II hood, they advertise that they have "the better made hood" so i figure, if im gonna get something, im gonna get the best

Actually ramairhood.com's hood is the best RAII hood out there right now. They have the best quality/materials/price for the RAII hood out there right now. Their hood is made from high quality O.E.M. materials plastic. This makes them more heat resist and disstort heat better. They also will not crack and wrinkle over time like handlaid fiber glass. Hand laid fiberglass isnt very consistant of a fit. but the process of the ramairhood.com with its plastic goes through a process which ensures a perfect fit every time.
