I liked the way Graboid left the handles on while taking the locks and cap off. It makes it unique and it's still practical.
Even if I could see a halo I wouldn't care. I noticed that all C4 Vettes have a defect on their hood from the factory. I see it all the time now. The paint is on and it's done- good enough.
I would try to move the filler behind the plate for convenience though.

Ive had to get in thru the hatch on a couple occasions. Not the most dignified way to access your car in a parking lot.Now i just keep a spare door key in my wallet.Flush mount handles is my preferred method if i ever do a door mod...But Id never shave them off.

again, i said that i see that too, but i don't give a damn if it only appears when i use the flashlight of my camera. The car will be repainted next year anyway (the reason is not the halo, but the black, which sucks ***) and i will take care of the problem and make all you guys happy.

You're doing a color change? What color? I think the black looks awesome on your car, but it can be a pain in the ***. rené, i passed the inspection last august. they didn't look for the gas cap, even when he searched in the trunk for rust. But i don't think it is legal, at least in switzerland.
MetallicamaroRS, I will go for an industrial type of grey ( RAL 7040 or 7015). The kind of color you might on the chassis of trucks or heavy costruction machinery. Nothing metallic or fancy.
I mean, duringh the two hours after sunset, nothing beats black. But in sunlight, people who own a black car know what i am talking about.

I for one have only had to go in the back due to a dead battery once in 3 years. The other times was to to pure stupidity in leaving the keys in the car!

Gas attendants look at me funny when i pop the trunk to fill up. I'm waiting for onr to get on to me, thinking I'm filling up a gas tank in the car. There is a big not allowed sign on the pumps about filling gas cans in the car! I did get fussed at once when I emptied out the gas in the pump line before I put the handle in the car. I just let the handle drip out the remnants before I select my grade. The guy was ticked, said I was not allowed to do that. I said, well its safer on the ground than in my truck on my amp or speakers! He shut up pretty quick when he saw me putting the handle in the filler in the trunk!
Graboid: your car looks awesome BTW!
