I want some new wheels and I've decided I wanna go with 17"...maybe 18", chrome, 5-spoke, I don't want the spokes real thin but not real thick either, and I don't want them curved like they're spinning when they're not or w/e....I want straight spokes. But still, I have a hard time telling what rims will look good on my car and which ones won't even if I like the rims. Is there any sorta "rule of thumb" or anything as to what rims look good on what cars?

my printer/scanner isn't working so I'll post pics when I get it figured out but for now describing it is the best I can do. It's an '83 25th Anniversary Daytona 500 Pace Car Trans Am- all original- white and charcoal on the bottom. The car is completely original except the tires including the original ground effects... I'll see if I can find a pic on the net and post it...... oh, and as far as price range goes i'd like to keep it under $500/corner including some stickier tires...

white and charcoal.......... i'd say the rims should be a charcoal or dark gray finish. i'll go find some rims and post them.

yeah, the wheels on my car right now are the optional 15" silver turbo fin wheels which look aight but if I'm gonna spend all that money I'd like to get something either real high-polished or chrome... I do, however, like the Z06 wheels, too but I have never seen them on a T/A... wonderin if "Chevy wheels" would look aight...

 

there is a couple T/A's w/ boe-tie rims, besides its OK to be different. just not too different j/k
