Foglights

finally found a set of fogs :lala: they are not GM or OEM but they sure do look like it! i fabricated my own brackets just like the factory ones. If anyone wants to put foglights on CHEAP..this is the way to go.. go to autozone....the brand name are BLAZER.

Gas for the trip to autozone....... $4
Blazer foglights to pretty up your baby....$17

Finally being able to see at night ....priceless

.....for everything else theres Autozone

Doesn't look half bad... first time in a long time that I've seen aftermarket fog lights on a car that didn't blatantly obviously look like they were aftermarket fog lights.

Those blazer lights are a direct replacement for the 85-90 Trans Am fog lights. Even if you want to keep the stock brackets and such, you can use the reflective buckets and the lense from them and it will all bolt back together.

How did you wire them up? They just come on with your headlights or is there a seperate switch. I don't have fogs on my car now but those look awesome and I really want them. Details please!!!

bes 217..... yeah, the set came with a switch. the wiring was simple. into the back of the switch went three prongs. one for the ground, one for the lights, and one for the fuse. just plugged right in. But the only fabrication you need to do is strip the fuse ending and put a teminal on the end that will fit right into your fuse panel. there are two spots in the fuse panel labeled "fog lights" i only needed to use one. any more questions ..feel free. sorry if i confused you . later RYAN

when i wired my fog lights up to my 84 that didnt have it set up for it. im not sure what the part is called but what it does is let you splice into a wire without havin to cut it. i used one of those and spliced it into my side marker lights. so when ever i pulled my park lights on they woukd turn on. it took like 15 mins to hook everything up. ill see if i can find a pic of the connector.

looks good.

I finally got a set of factory ones for free when I installed a set of aftermarket ones on a friends car.
I took off my ugly looking aftermarket ones and put the factory ones in. Makes it look a whole lot nicer.

yep i have the blazers on my firebird. I just swapped in the reflector, bulb, and glass from the new blazer fogs into the metal housing of the stock foglights. That way it bolts right up to the bracket like normal. looks exactly like the stock ones except maybe they are a little brighter. They overpower my headlights i think lol. here is a picture

Re: Foglights

Interesting thread. Do these happen to plug right into the camaro foglight wireing? My camaro has the wiring and brackets but no foglights. some reason the last guy did keep them and replaced them with oval ones.
