FREE MODS.....You Know It!!!

everyone of us (except for a select few) arent made of money.......so lets talk about the best part of our cars, the ability to do a ton of free mods performance or apperance!!! this can give some of us other ideas of what to do next as well (like me!).

ill start, mine consist of a free ram air setup (alumnium duct tubing and cutting my air box), a custom box for my subs that just needed some time, and spray paint to touch up the black on our cars.......looks new!

This one's free if you have some old rubbing compound around; An abrasive compound does wonders on the front turn signal lenses - turned my old ones from nappy foggy crap to at least discolored clear turn signals; a good temp solution until I got new ones. The same goes for the tail-lights, there's a number of methods to clean those up and that's a good start.

A good $5 mod is painting calipers if done WELL. I mean caliper CLEAN and either thoroughly masked off or ideally removed from car. I REALLY spruced up my shabby calipers on all four with some metallic silver wheel paint (considering going to metallic graphite). They look aluminum actually Hopefully something bigger someday

Polishing your tail light lenses. JoshP has an article on this I think, and it looks SWEET.

They both do the same thing, just different ways. They measure the amount of air going into the engine.
