and i gotta say it works awesome! leaves absolutely no spots and it dries the car fast since it abosbs way more water. no more stupid rags or going out and driving it for 5 minutes to let the wind dry it definitely worth the 10 bucks!!

I use a combo of The Absorber and the California Water Blade. First I use the water blade on the easy spots, then I get the harder spots with The Absorber.

i bought a chamois recently and decided to try it. it does the job but it just doesnt absorb as much as the absorber does, so the job takes longer. with the absorber the car came out lookin cleaner than usual. i highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it yet. also comes in colors. i got the red one.

Cool. The absorber doesn't leave swirl marks? Where can you pick it up? Thanks.

It does leave some swirl marks in black cars, but it's still better than anything else I've tried.

I believe that the old school chamois' have an oily residue that is left behind.......The absorber is fully synthectic and wipes time after time. I have had the same absorber for two years and after numerous washes....still going strong

I have found if you use the blade on the windows and the absorber on the rest its about the best you can get.

i have had the absorber and the california water blade since day 1...and they are the best things i have used in a long time.... my one friend has a different way of drying his car after he hand washes it... he uses an electric leaf blower to get most all of the water off... i think that is one of the best ways u can dry ur car if u want the least amount of swirl marks...

does the absorber recommend washing it first? and did you guys wash it if it does? and what is the point of washing it before use? i think i will probably go buy both the blade and the absorber so that i'm ready for the warm weather.

If you get dirt on it you should wash it... its not a bad idea to wash after every use cause you will pick up a little dirt on it inevitably and that will scratch your paint . I think chamois are more prone to hold the dirt that they pick up.. not sure tho.

I've had mine for about 8 years and it's still going strong. I throw it in the washer with my dirty clothes after each use and then put it back in the tube.

It sucks when you forget about it and put it in the dryer...

Guess I'm the only one who didn't have good luck with one. Durring the nasty pine pollen season we have here, everything gets a light green covering. The next day after drying with a brand new absorber there would be streaks of pollen all over my truck. This happend again and again till switching back to a regular chamois. Dunno wtf caused it but it happend every time when using the absorber. Tried the absorber, chamois then back to absorber just to make sure it was the cause.
