I need confirmations for the 3rd - 5th, also some updates n whatnot :)
First off, I need to know exactly how many people are planning on coming and how many people you plan on bringing with you
Also... I'd like to know what everyone is bringing... Drinks, Chips, Booze, or something to BBQ ... hopefully everyone can bring atleast something small
I plan on picking up enough buns for hotdogs & hamburgers for everyone, and I'm also giving some thought to picking up a Salmon (unless someone else wants to bring one to BBQ) and possibly some crab if anyone is interested.
Clothes I suggest bringing are obviously thing for both climates... warm and cold... this IS the pacific northwest afterall
Something to swim in, and whatever you'll be comfortable wearing ...
The races are at night... I was thinking of heading down there at about 5 to get us all good seats (5 is also when the qualifying heats start) ... but it'll be sort of a long night so bring something to keep warm (I think I've got a few blankets to bring along to sit on as the benches are wood hehe) ...
The prices (U.S. $) are as follows for the races:
Adults $15.50,
Jr./Sr.(12-18 & 62+) $9.50,
Children (6-11) $3.50
5 & under free
After the races I was thinking of crusing the backroads, or possibly some illegal drags on some backroads if anyone is up for that... Then whenever anyone gets tired of that we can head back to my place and get drunk, chat, or go to sleep (whatever y'all wanna do, up to you)...
Just restating a couple of rules here:
No Drugs (Alcohol doesn't count) ... I don't tolerate things like weed nor do many others.
Ifn you've had something to drink (other than something light to drink at say... lunch time...) you're not gonna be driving ... I don't want to take that risk because there ARE cops at the fairgrounds when it comes to parking and whatnot...
If you guys wanna get some stuff to light off at my place, go for it ... I've got a few things left over from last year and I've been thinking about going to tulalip indian res. to pick some other ... more powerful type things up..
So let me know, also let me know when you plan on showing up... if a lot of people are planning on being up here the night of the 3rd (Tuesday) ... let me know because I can just meet you guys in town just in case...
So tell me general time frame, I won't mind sitting on the camaro waitin for ya... and the more people who meet in town around the same time... well... we'll be that much harder to miss for people who show up a bit later
I'll repost directions again in awhile

I plan on coming up, but I don't know which day or for how long yet. It'll just be me, and I plan on crashing at your place, maybe in a tent, maybe not. I don't know what I'll be bringing as to food, maybe I'll just pick up something you need once I get there. Doubt I'll be bring any fireworks, but I'm sure I'll have some lick'her.

You know I'll be there, what day/time and what I'm gonna bring is uncertain as of now. When I get there will probably depend on when Andrew gets to my place.

He's obviously gotten to that point where he actually IS now Johnandbarb. You know, you ask John a question and his wife will answer it for you, and if the question is about him going out with the guys, the answer is always going to be...

Actually I've never met ZFreak's wife (I don't think), so I'm s u r e I'm probably wrong, but I certainly know the type.

I'm coming! I'm bringing liquor too.
Well, some sort of alky-hall. I'll be coming with my friend either in his daily driver '82 toyota tercel 2.3(?) litre 5 speed beast (said very sarcastically) or his 79 z28 look-a-like with temporary 305 (and 305s out back!) And we'll be having fun in either car. Look out for iansane!
John, you know you can register more than one aim name, right?

Yes Craig, her name is Barb (Barbara actually).
Yep, you guys got me figured out!
Actually, she is less likely to get suspicious if I use that name.

It's lookin' more like we we'll only be able to make the 4th..work is really stressing me out, I have only one more week until the guy I'm covering comes back from sabbatical.
I'm moving into my new position there, a good one, and I'm starting training this week and next while I'll be mentoring the two other people for a little while until they can get the jist of things.
Probably be leaving in the morning, and returning early evening.
Experiencing steering problems with the IROC I deem as unsafe, but Mark says it looks ok....he doesn't drive it long distance like I do daily. My baby's getting tired, she's been stock most of the years I've owned it.

LMAO, Demon! Hey, I did tell them that I had a "family" out of town gathering, albeit yours that I REALLY want to attend. Probably won't know for sure until Monday night if I can come up the 3rd. (...keeping her naughty thoughts about work to herself
