i start mine off with a rough over all coat after a good washing. then buff that off quickly and add one more fine coat (touching on the duller spots more heavily) and give that one a very detailed buff job.....what about you guys?

Orbital buffer to put it on and to take it off...if I need special attention to certain hard to reach areas I'll do it by hand afterwards.

The tried and true method. " PUT WAX ON TAKE WAX OFF" this method will work everytime.

I'm a little ****, so I usually wash with dawn to take all the old wax off, clay bar, then use Meguires 3-step system, (2 coats of each step), then top it off with Meguires yellow high tech #30. I usually do that once every other week. I always use a buffer to put it on, but I take it all off by hand. Like I said, I'm a little ****

doing it that way will take forever, the first year i had my car i waxed it all the time , and last year prolly 6 times. I think the longer i have the car the less i wax it and the less i drive it.

Car: currently thirdgenless!!!
I put it on with an orbital and take it off the old fashioned way.

The orbital does not get all of the nooks and crannies. They get the old fashioned "wax on, wax off".
