I prefer the cowl hoods. No bigger than 4" though. I think the 2 to 3" cowls look the best on a car like my 85 Z28. They seem to "fit" the car better.

Which cowl is that in your pic? It looks like a jongbloed.

Stock hood if its got nothing to back up a bigger hood.
Small cowl if you gotta change the hood.
Thats just my opinion though

i think EVERYONE should start watching the show rides on TLC someone on there today said something really awesome it was something along the lines of "were going to try to make this car perform awesome, handle amazing, and look really good while it does it" Figure out what modifications you need to make your car perform, then find a way to make those modifications look awesome. Dont just do it for the sake of change theres truly no point. Some would disagree with me but i couldnt deal with some huge thing protruding out of my car if it wasnt doing anything

The fit was great, took like 30 minutes to put on with no problems, just had to raise the catch that locks the hood. I am very happy with it. I highly recommend the Cervini hood.

I think the SS hoods look badass and flow with the camaro body even. Just don't start throwin firebird parts on it.

No, i didnt know that. I just like the tradtional look of cowl or the ss. The hoods are probably goin to be replicated from older cars with a few different shapes. Anyway i kinda need one now i dont want to drive arounds with a bent hood.

The people with the cervini's cowl i have a question for you. Is the under side of it like empty and follows the form of what u see on the out side. I dont want my engine getting close when i put my crate motor in it. Also where did you get the ss hood from, i'm talking about the white one and is it functional.

It is a finished mirror of the top side, LOTS of extra room in there. So far, this is the best made hood I have come across. :hail:

L88 hood would be interesting... I've seen it on a few cars, and it looked pretty good.
