Any white/silver T/A's out there?
I was thinking of painting my new GTA white with silver or gunmetal ground effects. Its currently the original white, but the paint is trashed. I know GTA's originally came solid colored, but I really like the look of the 2-tone, and I dont care much about originality. I did this quick photoshop, with a dark gunmetal color on the ground effects. I'm not sure who's car this is, but I used this pic because it has no spoiler. I want run no spoiler on my GTA like this, I think it looks good. What do you guys think?

This is my car, it now has a rear axle in it. Friday I am putting the front suspension together so I can trailer it out to my shop to work on it.

i think if you could actually get it to have that chromey basecoat under the white and the grey.. it'd be pretty mean. as for how it'd look in real life.. not as cool as that

Yea, that car is actually red. The wheels are actually gold, too
I was wondering the same thing about the look though, I actually think I could make it look like that with pearl additive in the paint.

With your car scrapped there it kinda looks like a notchback GTA.
As for the paint scheme and no wing...me no likey! But it's your car, have fun with it.

Yea but if I leave it with no wing then I don't have to buy one
I think it looks good without one anyways. I am running no wing on my 83, and I guess maybe I just got used to the look.

No no no
Never use a dark color for the GFX ...
that would kill the FX...
in the nights your car will give a high sitting appareance
Leave always the GFX a lighter color than the body
Just my 2 cents

I know its your car and all, but you are making it look like a plain ol' Trans Am with the two tone, no wing look.
Go Gun Metal Grey for color. Its factory, you can get matching badges for it, and its also less common.
One thing to consider, if you change the body to a custom color, you will have to have custom emblems made to match the paint color. Or you'll have to get rid of them.

Hmm, I didnt think of the night thing. Maybe a little lighter grey on the bottom would help. I didnt plan on reinstalling the GTA badges, they were stolen off the car. The only badges i might put on would be 4th gen trans am door badges.

Night thing
Yeah the night thing is a fact!
totally real ...
you'll see that your car sitiing higher...
its just an optical illusion
But its important to make the bottom more "noticeable"
for the 2 tone cars even if you have GFX.
