How does this look...
I've tweaked Devianb's photoshop of his car, since my is also a firebird (formula). (hope you don't mind, dude) I've swapped to B.Coddington "tuned" wheels (center section powdercoated silver/gray). I plan to remove the front 'bumper' sections, but then fill them with a mesh grille. Although I didn't add them here, I plan to figure a way to install some fog lights in that grille. I removed the plate and adjusted the rear wheel to be inboard a bit more. I also removed the slits in the nose for a cleaner look. I also plan to switch to the 91-92 formula smooth rear bumper (non-gutter) to rid the rear end of those 'bumper' sections. LT1 and t-56 with 3.73's. Smooth, low and fast. What do you guys think overall?
The only major dilemas I face in building my car to look like this are:
1) plastic welding the headlight areas smooth. Ive seen it done with urethane bumpers before, but not sure how hard it is. I'm thinking of nabbing a 91-92 front end and taking the headlights (of course) and the top section, and plastic welding the entire top section to mine.
2) paint color. My car is currently black with black/gray interior so silver would look good. I think that it would also look good black, but I dont have photoshop to change the color. Perhaps white would look good also?

yep i like the rims from the original photoshop better...although it'd look better if they were made smaller, it looks like the cars sitting on at least 20"s

Maybe its the sun light but i dont like it at all. I also dont like the rims on either of the cars. Im one for stock gta wheels myself. The paint looks like its white and silver all at the same time. Over all I say Bleah...

that car looks a lot nicer then a C4 corvette, and i wish a drop like that was practicle it looks amazing but unless you were going to run without an exhaust i doubt you could get away with dropping it like that

Yeah, that looks pretty sweet, if you can turn the image into life, that would be awsome. It does look as if the car is too low and wheels too big for real life. I would love to see you do it though.
Here's a zo6 mesh picture:

CustomX is right, that's the stuff to use.
While we're all at it, why don't you put some C4 vette mirrors on it? That would look pretty sweet and kinda streamline the look.
I agree with you that the stock hood looks pretty good in this application. I think the other ones would look nice too, I'm a sucker for hood scoops, turbo bumps, shaker hoods and all those type of gee-gaws, but in this smooth application the flat hood is probably best.
Love it, 5 stars, good job on that pic guys
