Internet Car Show 2 Preparations
Internet Car Show 2 Preparations
The ICS grabbed a lot of attention very quickly and the response was mostly either very good or people were upset that they didn't know about it.
Kandied and I want to make the next one fair and open to as many people as possible here. Again, it will be third-gen only and there will be various competition classes. There will be a number of changes and rules implemented that are going to have to be followed in order to participate, all of which will be posted in the near future.
As for right now, we're looking for people that would like to help out with ICS2. If you would like to help out, please PM ME and tell me that you would like to be one of two types of judges.
If you will be entering into the show with your car, you may apply to be an Entrant Judge only. Basically, an Entrant Judge will help determine in what class an entrant will be placed in. The entrant will no longer be deciding this, as there was too much confusion about where to submit their entry. I will send you detailed information on how to judge this later on.
If, and only if, you will not be entering into the car show, you can apply as an Awards Judge. You will be a part of the team determining who gets the top awards. Again, I will send you detailed information on judging procedures later on.
PM ME if you wish to help out! Do not email me, as I don't have access to my email from work as of yet.
ENTRIES ARE NOT BEING ACCEPTED YET!! There will be a new thread posted stating all the rules for entries when the time comes. Understand this may not start for a couple of weeks. Thanks to everyone!!

In the other thread, there has been some speculation about the different brackets everyone can compete in. Here's what we have so far, but this is TENTATIVE. If there aren't enough entrants, some classes will be condensed.
So far it's looking like 4 basic categories spread amongst four different cars. First, second, and third places will be held in all 16 categories.
The four car classes will be Camaro convertible, Camaro hardtop (this includes t-top cars), Firebird convertible, and Firebird hardtop.
The four competition classes for each car class will be Stock, Street, Modified, and Show Car. Depending on the response we get from all of you, we may add a Drag Car class (tubbed, full cage, ridiculous powerplant, etc). This will hopefully keep the competition between everyone relatively close, as each class basically progresses in how much modification and work has been put into a car.
Again, this is TENTATIVE! A new thread will be posted when everything is set to go. We are still needing some judges, so if you don't want to enter and/or just want to help out, contact me.

Correct. Unfortunately, if you are participating, I can't have you as an Awards Judge. If you want to help place the cars into classes, you're more than welcome, just shoot me a PM.
I am setting up webspace right now to get everything worked out for entering. All details will be posted as soon as we are ready to accept entrants.

still doesn't explain how you judge the class....is one car more incomplete because it's almost completed or because it's missing doors?
someone tell me how you judge it then....

I got a job now and i need to either work major hours soon and get the stuff needed to win, or just go regular if the show is a while away.
