I say blackouts...
Why don't you put the side pieces on the louvers? I think you should paint them black instead...

black head light pockets, black grille, get rid of the hideous louvers, 91-92 grid tail lights.... and leave the grid's black.

I think it just needs some black to break up all the silver. Get some blackouts for the tail lights and for the headlights. And like suggested above, if your gonna keep the luvers on, put the side peices on and leave them black! The grill should be black tojust my 02

If you insist on keeping the louvers paint them black and put the whole thing on. blackouts on the tails and front. but you'd still need something else. Cant think of what right now though

I def think that you need to find someway to break the grey up. Either paint inside the light covers like black or get blackout covers for them...... Maybe even a black pin stripe done the side fo the car might help break it up just a little too.....
ya to much, wow whats with the hood? it looks like mini ram air 1/4 hood. looks really off to me. u got really strange taste

Done the scoop myself it's a universal piece posyed a tech article here about it.
Louvers were freebies came w/ no sides been trying to get the sides may make my own.
Louvers stay silver because it's different windows are tinted to 5 percent.
Going w/ headlight and taillight blackouts.
Going w/ black stripes later on.
Got hood scoop fomr ebay do a search for it and done it myself.
headlight pockets black look odd to me like black eyes but I'll be doing front blackouts and rears. As I said later on stripes.
But guys I clearly stated no opinions on the louvers well said they stay my bad. I seen alot were black and yea they are ok but mine ar definately different going to leave them silver and have my stripes run all the way down em. Don't pass judgement keep your opinions to yourself about the silver louvers w/ black stripes until you see them and I may decide myself to paint them black but when I got em they were black test fit, didn't lok good done em in primer to match car, much better.
I do appreciate all of your opinions guys feel free to keep em coming if you like if not mods can close this because I've decided on blackouts front and rear to break it up.
and I did decide way back on doing stripes to be different but I agre very much so definately better then primer. I would buy the real ram air hood but I hear way to many bad comments on aftermarket fiberglass parts. and i felt liek saving 4 or 5 hundred by doing it myself w/ a scoop. The main thing is being different and not the same as others true opinions vary and so do tastes. I don't think its overkilled or ugly I think it's just about right but needs more custom touches. At the bare minimum for now if not big stripes then black and or read pin stripe down the sides and blackouts all way around.
thanks for looking guys.
Oh different wheels as wel later. and a predator kit or maybe 91-92 gfx. I'm going for the predator kit once i save up the cash so like this fall or winter and if they don't have em then I'll be going w/ 91-92 gfs on it.

dont do blackouts at all on the rear, just do the black pockets on the front, if youre going to keep louvers put the side sections on, and a tip for taking pictures: show oh, i dont know, all of the car at once instead of a bunch of wierd angles where you dont see much.

Tip for taking pictures when your car ain't legal you live in city limits and park next to the street if the police swing by your gettin a ticket. and if the cars not in your name she's getting towed. So you work w/ what you got.
Stay on subject people don't be throwing junk in the middle or end.
LOUVERS DO NOT HAVE SIDES.
I am strongly considering making my own.
however why not black out tails?
I personally hate black headlight pockets unless they are on a black car lol. That's my opinion for all who have them. Now headlight blackouts aren't that bad i don't guess I'll be finding out if I don't like em then I'll change em.
Mainly my covers for the front wil be hidding the pockets they are messed up bad alot of it fomr were we couldn't get in too good to fix em and got rushed alot to get it done and ready for paint which I hate because I find more and more spots that need finished and refined and they won't get done now I got paint done so it's stuck that way. You guys dunno how the pockets are and pics do no good. I take many pics to get in as much as i can and alot for personal comparison to others I've already taken and were my body work was done.

Well I've debated this since I done my mesh grile the ears on the bumper were the grile mounts are silver and kinda stick out so I was thinking of doing them black and I had all the area inside the grille black until we painted the car so that's going back black and the ears are and this is going to be hard to explain or follow... the flat spors around the grille basically the hole made in the bumper were say the bumper comes up vertically then shoots back in horizontally hints the area the grille is in and flat areas are goign black. I was thinking cheapo spray can black but I'm going to be doing stripes next month prolly in either pure black or black metallic or pearl I'm leaning towards pearl or metallic since my silver has tons of it and I love the look of it so when i do that I'm going to do all the grille area and stripes in that black w/ my paint gun. On the other hand I just thought of if I go w/ black outs they will be solid black no pearl or metallic hmm that's a thinker. May just go pure black then I dunno.
how about you guys? pure black for grille area(leave mesh silver) for now I think. Going to paint inside the snorkels black so they appear to be open inside w/ the silver grilles in them. and my stripes they will do the tops of the ram air scoops and the width of them on back of hood scoops closest to window is the width they wil be on top down louvers and acros the deck lid.
SO...... pure black or metallic/pearl?

I see a trend which I knew already its liek everyones idea of the camaro is 91-92 gfx black headlight pockets, grid tails, cowl hood pretty much, and that's about it.
I've seen black door handles shane they are about as bad or worse then the headlight pockets. I may try em later may not I seen another guys silver camaro on a post I done awhile back had black door handles didn't care for em. If anything they may go chrome and yea that's another tend no one likes chrome on thrd gen only wheels. I love chrome.
Chrome doesn't look much different or give more a difference then my silver door handle so they be aight.
same would be if I had shaved door handles they'd be all silver.
Late on I will be doing that on another set of doors then put them on my car. I am still thinking instead of a black stripe down the side do the ones on top as mentioned and do a thin pinstripe in red or black down the side towards the part were the fender rols up theres a nice line to follow do it in black or red to match my interior. I seen some red flamed pinstripe at autozone would go goo I think since I have red flamed seats.

alright well start out small first, tint the windows, put black outs on, paint the of the louvers black. That'd be awesome already. Then maybe a black grill.

Here's what I would do. Put on my religious jeans(the ones I'm wearin now) get down to the DMV or whatever they call it where you live and get some plates. Start that Beotch up and go ride for a while. As you ride think about what you look like drivin it and drive by some stores with large glass storefronts, look at the ride goin by. If you like what you see, dont change a thing. If you see room for improvement change it next week. Go out and have some fun with that baaaad girl! Keep up the good work.

Poor pictures is what i described earlier we had it across the street there one time doing primer as you can se in like page 5 and 4 and we had the exhaust fixed up what we thought would hold, pull it out of the garage and it rips off so I'm guessin that's what done it but the cops decided to take a lil trip through here and there she was on the stret so we got in some seriou **** over that. Was told if we see it out there again it's gettin impounded and junk.
Hey you all should know my digital camera sucks and thoose are scans so they work aight? You guys are never satisfied w/ anything sheesshh.
Like I've said I need a new better camera why I don't have one? my cash goes towards getting my car done.
One step ahead of you waitin on title to come back this week hopefully then insurance and tags.
I know what it look like going by store fronts and it definately be good enough but still to stay ahead of the game and be more custom going w/ some headlight blackouts and stripes later on prolly next month sometime and then I dunno what all else.
I tried posting up some tint pics for your guys but the stupid no more then 3 pics thing removed em and I didn't know it. oh well

Well here a cop can not just tow your car for sitting on the street without tags. First he has to put a BIG orange sticker on it that warns you that if its still there in 24 hours its getting towed.
Cop probably just wanted to act like a bad *** with someone younger than him.

Maybe but he was saying it to my dad whos 50 lol.
Yea he comes up and asks who owns it and my dad said he does. said that's mine and my sons car we've ben working on it.
Cops like you got proff of owner ship? dad said i got the title guy signed it over on back and said i signed it but haven't taken it down yet going to wait til its ready to drive. The cop said they been cracking down on ppls cars up here because they've been runnin new sewer lines and they said its holding up progress and I told him my car sets in this garage right here all the time.
He just wanted to be a ***** because the car in front of my has set for years!!!! the vw fox thingy lol he asked if it was ours and we said no and he left a note on its window and we told my neighbor he just walked out tore it off and threw it away lmao.
He told us since he doesn'y patrol here al the time and was new he didn't know us or if it did sit there or whatever but he'd be coming back to check and said if he seen it drivin across the street he'd give us tickets n ****. By this time I was pissed and asked him if he didn't have something better to do then herass us when we wasn't bothering nothing. I said this right here is my neighbors property except for like 2 feet that the city owns on the sides of the road. So hes just all don't let me catch it here again I said ok. stay at the dounut shop longer next time and hes liek what? you say something to me son? I said yes officer I said it won't be here next time. I told him feel free to come by it stays in the garage I pulled it out to take pics of it. Every so often he comes by I alwasy wave and put right in the garage and he gets mad and drives off and as he does I flip him off as he's leavin.
Got no right or use in doing that crap.

man, thats cool, good thing you live in WV people get away with a lot more stuff there. YOu say something about donut shops here they get real mad.
Anyways yeah man, what ya do is next time he comes by, read him your rights saying you dont gotta say **** wihtout a lawyer. Tell him the plates are coming and mail is slow, she cant do **** still. There are ways to get around the stuff. Make up a fake paper plate like they give you at the dealership. Just be smart and make the number not readable.

I say tint your windows with that silver mirror tint - yeah, the stuff from the 70's.
Also, paint your tires black. Yeah, your TIRES...that would look awesome.

Oh well lmao.
Yea that's real cute and funny oops I forgot to laugh haha
Siolver tint on a car w/ possibly too much silver and paint the tires black. Now that one I could agre on they have over spray on them, they are dry rotted and junk and are brown.
But now come on ppl I ask for opinions this time don't be a dick or say stupid comments I want solid answers to what should or could be done. I could just leave it silver and add more.
So play nice girls, and thanks for all your guys imput.
Most of theese ideas I had already thought of just wanted to run it by you guys. I'm thinking for now maybe leave the tails off and get em later but do the headlight blackouts, do the grile area in black but leave the mesh the aluminum it is and do stripes, probably do a thin pin stripe down the sides as well. Ahh working on ordering a factory set of side pieces off a web site fo thoose louvers as well. It would suck because they're not custom but I may stil fab up my own sides and they'd be nice and custom and they'd draw attention to them and off the louvers. We'll see what happens I'm awaitin emails fomr them and numerous others for parts.

Remove louvers
custom wheels/tires
lower it.
get a stock or SS hood
black tint
black light buckets
5" 3-piece spoiler for the rear
- BTW, why do folks ask for other's opinions when 9x out of 10 they won't agree with the responses they are given? It's just fodder for arguements.

well durty bird I agree w/ you on alot.
The louvers stay.
So does the hood.
I will be gettin nice 5 spokers like cragars later and new low pro tires. maybe a set of 16's if my buddy comes through w/ em.
GUYS FOR THE LAST TIME I GOT TINTED WINDOWS!!!
they are 5 percent I'm go host em so I can post em and show you guys so everyone knows I got tint and doesn't get any darker I'm pushing a ticket easily now as it is.
I'm going w/ headlight blackouts.
I didn't say I don't want to hear your opinions I do but most things I've made my mind up on like why would I do black pockets when they are mesed up black would show it off worse and I am doing blackouts so you'd never know they was painted.
The louvers stay and so does the hod if it comes of then they will be a daytona style hod there which no one likes either.
I'd like to lower it as well and will sometime later on too.
Right now all my cash goes to making it road worthy and look nice outside and in. later comes a predator gfx or factory 91-92 if I can't get a predator kit, new wheels, lowering kit, and some other stuf later on as well.

I hate to put that kinda money in seomthing then have to rework it to get it to fit that sucks.

That tint looks pretty good.
I said to paint the buckets black because it will look better. If it's messed up in the buckets, then fix it right. Those tinted headlight covers don't look good IMO. I've also never seen a set of those louvers that I've liked - regardless of color.
And yeah, there is just too much silver - if you must keep the louvers, make them to black. If you were wearing clothes, would you wear the exact same color from head to toe? You have to have something else in there to break it up.

Yea I would wear the clothes all same fomr head to toe lmao.
They are cracked up and seperated inside there and they kept gettin overlooked and I kept gettin rushed so liek some other **** now they are screwed up and reflect badly on the whole car.
I would sand them down right by hand d'a's hard to get in there well you can but it won't do the majority of the bad areas they'd have to be done by hand and take very long time but IMO I haven't seen any black headlight pockets I liked accept for ones on black cars. They stand out alot and look odd to me like black eyes or seomthing they ain't as bad on drker cars because they are less noticeable but on lighter cars they stand way out.
