19 Zenetti Five Chrome.....

After some slight fender modification.......They fit and i'm glad i went with the 19's.......The car is dropped with Dropzone springs, so it created some initial problems.....

Comments on 19's on a thirdgen? Hey they aren't 20's...

Wouldn't have it any other way....

Sets it apart from the crowd, wether it's a positive or negative thing is in the eyes of whoever is looking at it....

okay this is a wing comment, it has to go but heres the reason. The way your car was before the hood & wheels well the wing was actually growing on me . But heres the problem, especially noticing it from a side view, your hood has a line that goes straight back, the wheels are very straight, the vents are very straight back, and the wing is all curvy and sticks up way high in the air. I think your car definitly needs a wing of some sort im still looking for the perfect one for my car, however you need something that sits about oh 1" lower? and has straighter lines too it. I love the car but now with those new wheels it just makes the wing disrupt the natural line of the body even more. This is also obviously just an opinion, im not saying lose the wing, just that wing im big on lines of a car and its really noticeable from a side view how that specific wing doesnt fit right

BTW, why do you need change the wheelwells for bigger wheels as long as you don't change the outside dimensions

A little too bling bling for my taste, but it def. beats what you had on there before.

The wing really isn't my thing, but as long as you like it, that's cool. Good work man.

the tires are too wide for those rims and the overall diameter on the rear wheel is more than 1 1/2inch larger than stock. And chrome doesn't look right on thirdgens imo. BUT, it looks alot better than the previous setup

I had a feeling you were running 40 series tires, but just wanted to ask first to make sure. If you are looking for some constructive criticism, I would have to say the bigger sidewall is throwing the look off. I would recommend next time you buy tires, go with the 35 or even 30 sidewall tires. The bigger sidewall gives the car the appearance that it is sitting higher than it really is. It also appears that the wheels are not tucking, even though they pretty much are. Kinda throws off the overall effect I know you are going for with 19's. Other than that minor detail, I think it looks great! Cant wait to see some vids of you driving around and burning out hehehhe.

The bigger sidewall is necessary considering the roads on campus are absolutly horrible.....

Man, you did a good job selecting your wheels - I think they look great. A 35 series tire may look a little nicer, but it's just fine as is. I feel like your car is going to wear this smiley out:

i am ALL FOR the "do what makes you happy...screw everyone else" theory BUT personally, i would spend my money on bringing the car to a better condition before spending SOOO MUCH money on stuff like rims, etc...like getting the side molding badges on the car, replacing the beat up and cracked door weather stripping, etc, etc. Those are the things that really upset me when i look at a vehicle
Get the car back up to par and then the bling really really adds on.

Also, the rims are too big for my taste and do not look propper on the car.

Does your door creak and clunk when you open it? Do the doors need hinge replacements, etc? that kind of stuff is priority IMO.

Anyway, i admire the fact that you do what you do with your ride and keep doing it!

i agree in theory the tires are off-sized however for daily driving and overall cost expense that's as low as well as tall as you need to go to give you some insurance on the matter.

100% better then stock and the 19's now put you in a league of your own. while they may be a bit heavier then others it sets the car apart which is great and they aren't overdone which is nice...20's in that style would have been much. your right on the brink of tasteful which is great!

keep up the good work, it's coming along nicely.....

honestly i cant stand that wing. the rims are WAY better. im jealous. if you want to stay with a flashy bling bling wing, MAYBE an aluminum wing. but still, to much **** for me. but you know what, who gives a **** when you have an LS1 under the hood.

Not too bad, definitely looks better than the Neeper's, but I think dished wheels would've looked ten times better.

If it wasn't for the wing this very well has the potential to be one of my favorites on the board.

Dude, no offense intended, but that wing has got to go. I'm seriously embarressed just looking at it, but you gotta drive the thing? Again, no offense.
What if you took the wing that came on the 91-92 stock, and cut the two posts out of the middle of it? That might give you the uniqueness you seek, yet not making it look, well, gay like the current one. I'm sorry that's just my thoughts on that.
But about the rims, hell yeah! Those look tight!!! Nice work!

I think a Hawks 5" spoiler would be perfect for the look he's got going, but he's been pretty much dead set on that spoiler from the day he joined, and it's his car.

Man I can still remember your car still mostly stock, things have definitely come a long way...

WTF, will people just chill out about the g0ddamn spoiler already?! It's not even my car and it's agrivating ME. If I were Flynlow I would leave it on just to spite everyone saying "Hey man, no offence, but I wouldn't be caught dead in that thing... oh yeah, no offence or anything, I just think it's the ugliest thing I've ever seen in my life and would rip it off if I ever see it in person, but no offence or anything." I have yet to see 1 thread, just ONE that Flynlow starts, where the wing could be left out of it - oddly there's never been a thread about it, yet seems to be the focal point of discussion. I'm just sick of it is all, just give it a rest. Do you think he even cares what you say at this point? I don't think so, go ahead and get worked up about it because it's not going anywhere.

Your kidding, right? Deep down he loves and craves the attention from it. Need proof?

Why else would he leave something like that on his car.

Heehee...
Well the fact that EVERYONE has a negative opinion of it should tell him something. Its not that we're tryin to bust his ***** (well maybe a little) but I think the criticism is good for the guy. All I meant to do with my post was try to steer him in the right direction... does that make me a bad person? Would you let your girlfriend walk out of the house in an outfit that was obviously in hideous poor taste? (Again, no offense heehee) Im just kiddin man, really, I don't care what YOU do to YOUR car, but jeez... I will say that the blue IROC-Z up there a few posts is something like what ya want it to look like... Man that thing is sweet

The right direction? Towards your opinion, an opinion is a personal belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof. By thinking you're doing a favor by persuading anybody into your personal beliefs is absurd.

No however opinions are personal views that are decided based on what we think is best. For me my personal opinion does not change unless you can show me something that makes more sense to me then what i was already thinking. Hence my post that as much as the wing really was starting to grow on me, the way his car is now with straight vents, straight hood lines, straight wheels, and a curvy wing doesnt look right to me. Although i do feel that something different yet just as outlandish is necessary for his car.
