For what I read about the car that was on the show, it didnt have the correct nose on it and it had a cheap JC whitney scanner on it. The interior wasn't done either. This is what I have read about it, I didn't get to see the car myself

Yeah and its Knight Rider with a "k" =) just being difficult

It wasn't a good KITT either...wrong rims nose looked funky...cheap scanner. Lot of other little nit picks, but It was a funny bit and I like anything Knight Rider
