march pulleys and brackets

I forget which post it was but someone had a picture of their motor out, it was painted red I believe, and had march stuff in it, I think it was kandiez? or however its spelt sorry! lol anyways got my dj stuff sold now I got 3100 to spend on a motor and tranny and would like to know what set up you got, i'm building a SBC 400. do you have part numbers?

lol.....if it was mine expect to drop about 600 for the same setup as my own. it's marchs standard v8 sbc setup running a v6 alternator in reverse style. i have the polished billet setup though. there are cheaper alternatives.

shiz, it was yours, what is yoru cheaper alternative? I currently have a V6 in my car, so what can I use off that, alt, I heard power steering..... that about it?

cheapest alternative is to polish your stock pieces if your just going for looks. summit also carries pieces that look and work very similar for half the price....

as far as the block and valve covers it's powdercoated the color of the car. there is a ceramic coat laid down first so the letters on the covers show. for the block and remainder of covers there is a gold powdercoat underneath a transparent red. the oil pan is also done that way..

I want the same setup as pictured above. Is that the v-belt to serpentine conversion kit March offers? I seen the kit in Jegs and Summit but I'm not sure which I'll need because I want to also get Summits chrome power steering pump and I need to find out if it is a keyway or press on pulley.

if you could kandied what is the number for both the summit and the march set up? I'll see what my local speed shop can do, they are increadible cheap compared to jegs etc doing the can to us figure exchange and what not.

also.... I take it the 'kit' didn't include the brackets, if it didn't do u konw what numbers or models you got?

my march kit is the standard polished kit. it comes with the brackets and everything needed.
