Getting a new 3rd Gen maybe !!

Not sure where exactly to put this post, here seems like a good idea.

Anway I used to have a 92 RS Anni edtn camaro and it was totalled in a wreck about 2 and half years ago.
I bought myself a 4th gen SS and now have the possibility of buying a 87' IROC-Z with about 77,000. Need alot of cleaning, the guy had the car in a garage since 1996. I can get it for $1000, what do you guys think and what should I look for on this car if I consider it. Thanks,

What options are you looking for? As far as common problems... Hell, it its been in a garage since 1996 I'd bet theres a lot to be fixed. $1000 sounds really good as long as its halfway decent and runs.

Yeah I know, I am just hoping that there isn't too much stuff wrong with it. I guess what things should I check for if the car has been sitting for so long.

How could you go wrong with $1000. As long as it's in half decent shape, even if you decided you didn't want it, you could part it out and probably make a few $$ off it.

They are still making them NEW????

I think that as long as it runs, it's worth $1000. Good luck on the buildup!
