I like both, im not big on aftermarket hoods on firebirds but they look great on camaros. I guess it all depends on which size and style cowl you get. I dont like bigger ones unless you need it. 2" or 2 1/2" looks fine though. But the SS hood looks reall good too

I like the cowl myself, but the SS works too... its really down to preference, because both look good.

I like the 2.5" cowl myself though.

5' cowl hood!? Thats HUGE! HOw do you see out the window? If it was only 5" that'd be cool but 5'!? You got a whole football team under the hood? j/k
BTW that paint is awesome, what color is that?
Im trying to decide between my Red/Silver/Blue or a solid purple color like yours that has a good pearl to it.

I agree with the above. Anything above 2.5"- 3" is overkill for a street car IMO. Outta the two choices, I would go cowl hood. The SS hood never looked at all flattering on a 3rd gen. Same goes with the RAII and the G0D awful Turbo Iroc hood. :nono:

That really isn't a bad idea plus money is an issue right now too. Having two camaros and both my husband and I wanting to do stuff to them is going to cost us double the money. Thanks for the advice I will have to through it around.

In either case, *hopefully* you will keep things you do to it, relatively easily reversible knowing that its a rare car.
