Tinted IROC Taillights

Actuallly got off my *** today and got something done! This is what she looks like after phase one. I ran out of Niteshades just after the second light coat. As soon as I get some more, she'll get another coat or two on the big lights, and the third will be done then too, along with some polish to make 'em all shine.

i love the look of that...looks great with the brakes on, only thing that concerns me is the dimness of it w/ the lights on....any chance you could snap a pic at night w/ the lights on before you get LED's?
edit: is that Nightshades stuff spray on? how much did it cost for those 2 coats?

Dont know if your asking me,BUT i did try those LEDs some years ago.NOT as bright as the stock bulbs.Back then though the most they had was like 12 LEDs per bulb.Right now Im using xenons.Very bright even in daylight.

I was actually talking to DJCobal...in his first pic it's with the lights on and looks very dim. i'd like to see a pic at night to make sure they're bright enough.
84 1LE - that pic you posted w/ them lit up....is that brake lights or regular lights? cause if that's regular lights than that's plenty bright enough and i'll prob. do it

Thats w/brakes on(notice the 3rd brk light),But the xenons are very bright even w/just the driving lights on.They are about 30% less bright w/out the brakes. Its hard to see the diff in this pic,but Right side is brks on,Left is just driving lights.

What you see on there now took me half a can. I used the other half on my daily driver's taillights. I'm ordering some more on Monday, so I should be done with round 2 by next weekend.
