They are finally on!
Yesterday I installed my new ground effects. The nose is still being painted, but everything else is on. Its nice to finally have the car looking decent. I put the interior all back together as well, and ordered my new stripe and new tires. A couple more weeks and it will finally be back on the road.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
So far everything lined up beautifully. I was surprised at how well they lined up actually. There is a slight gap between the rear bumper and the rear fender on the passenger side, but its really only something you notice if someone points it out. All the screws are tight and it just won't close the gap, but its really not a big deal. Other than that, no problems at all. I cant wait to get my nose and front valence on and take pics with the stripes and emblems back on.

I dunno...I kindof like it without the stripe. You should at least take pictures of it with the effects and no stripe, and then with the stripe.

I like it without the stripe as well.
But, seeing as whoever painted the car before was a lazy bastard and painted right over the old stripe and just stuck a new one on top, I have to get a new stripe cause you can see the old one under the paint

Yes, you will see my car at Third Gen Fest. I am leading a caravan there, so far we have about 18 cars plus people meeting us from Milwaukee.

Just as I thought and mentioned earlier...
Now that the ground effects are on I think it looks great....and will look better with the blue stripe...left OFF.
That stripe helped the older car look better but with the GFX it's not needed anymore.
Just my opinion.

As I mentioned earlier, I like it without the stripe too. But it has to go back on due to some idiot's laziness.
srdynamics1:
Check out the NW Indiana/South Chicago Suburbs board for the sticky with info and to sign up for the caravan if you want to join us.
Tobias05:
The red Camaro is my younger brother's 1985 IROC.
deadbird:
Yep, looks like my old Camaro. Except the IROC stickers, IROC rims, IROC louvers, t-tops, and a lot less rust
I can't believe someone actually remembers my old car.
