I am repainting my car because all the clearcoat was peeling off. I am almost ready to paint but i am deciding whether or not i should use the same blue I have now or a better blue. So let me see some pics of blue paint and what kind of paint it is. I was thinking blue metallic with pearl or something...let me know

 

i like what you said, the blue metallic with pearl , that sounds like it would look cool

 

The blue on the new Nissan 350Z is pretty cool its called Daytona blue.


BMW's Laguna Seca blue is a cool shade also.


As is their Topaz Blue color

 

I think that last color is the one that matches your current color the best if you wanted to stay to a similar shade. It looks nice in person too, although if you added a coat of white pearl on top I'm sure you'd get a nice depth and glimmer to it. BMW also has a darker color called Mystic Metallic Blue that is pretty cool. I've always liked blue Camaros.

Came on Subaru SVX's. Im think of repainting my SVX that color. My firebird is already bright blue metallic GM Code: 23 Which is also an awesome blue.

I myself want a shade of blue, I like the new dark blue on new Chevys and the Viper blue.

 

Nice Im glad someone finally said it...Viper blue! That's the color I painted my transam. It has metalic and pearl in it. I don't have a pic of it yet, but it looks really good. Just look up pics of the blue Viper GTS. I also like GM's medium quasar blue

 

The Laguna Blue Pearl from the SVX looks real nice

Sonic blue.

 

Sonic blue is nice because it shifts from blue to purple under the lights, it is a 99-02 honda color I think. There is a new honda blue that is beautiful, it is called fiji blue pearlcoat...it is awesome. I have seen the nissan 350 blue on a 68 camaro, that is a super nice color that we are also putting on an S10, it is fairly cheap as paint goes for only $90 a gallon for PPG base.

Most common place Ive seen Sonic blue is at the local Ford dealerships. It's like Electron blue + 1.

 

id say nissan daytona blue or candy blue.

I really like the lazer blue mica that my mazda is.

 

Cant really tell here but in the sun the mazda blue stands out alot more. I might repaint the camaro again and ill paint it the lazer blue.

You are right about the sonic blue on the fords, but there was also one before that on honda's that was a little lighter and a little more purple...but the ford one is way better!

 

well .. reason I said most common is b/c I saw it on an LT1 Camaro once online... baddest color blue Ive seen on a 4th gen by far. Of course it could have been camera/lighting.. .but it was badddd

Cool, one of my friends ex-boyfriends had a Mazdaspeed protege, bought it for way more money then he should have then banged it all up and sold it still owing money on it, and he still does. We like to call him "Wom" short for "Waste of Money"
