seperated at birth (twins)

I just picked up a new RS Yesterday. It is a 92 RS with a 305 TBI. Just like my origional camaro. The main differences is that it is a hard top, the side molding was removed when it was repainted 4 yrs agao. and it has a gray interior istead of a tan one. I got a good deal on it so I am going to try and turn it around quick and make some money off of it.

boy, thats a nice lookin car... if you got it for a good deal i'm sure you could turn around and sell it for a decent profit... never been a fan of those things on the hatch, though... kinda screw up the lines of the car in my eyes..

I was going to sell it to my frind but he just got an 85 Firebird last week and didn't tell me yet so he is out. I have few others that are interested,. but if not I will just get more money out of it by selling it on the side of the road. with the money I get from it I have to buy a ring (oh yeah) and I will hopefully get a pro kit and SFC from Tops down solution for the T Top car.

Those aren't ZS's. I say swap all your mods to the hardtop with new paint and sell the t-top car. Thats just what I would do (after having two cars with leaking rusted out t-tops) unless you had a thing for the t-tops. Lates!

yeah I like Having T Tops but I also like how the Hard top is more rigid. I will just have to get SFC. The Hardtop has about 31k more than the other.

Both cars look good.

One question...
I noticed the ROH RTs on there, why did you sell the Z06 wheels?

Hey, that's so cool!! Can you give me one??? ( he he)...

Really, what do you want for that new one? I like that color a lot, looks sweet and slick, goes nice with 3rd gens..

I am looking for interior parts if you want to get rid of anything on it, however I now you don't...

HEY, AGAIN, I LOVE YOUR NEW WHEELS, I NEED TO GET PICS OF MY SNYPERS UP!!! I LIKE YOURS NOW A LOT, MAYBE EVEN MORE THAN THE SNYPERS????

How much are you looking to get for it? Miles? Transmission? I might be in the market for a new thirdgen.

it has a 305 TBI. 130k miles. 3 month old tires. Needs the cat replaced but comes with one new in box. and I am not sure why it does this, but when you select a gear (auto) you have to move the shifter slightly past the markings to be in the gear you want.
It has new brake pads and rotors. Clean gray interior. crappy 5% tint on side windows, looks good from the outside but not inside. I'm asking 4,500 on the street. I know that is high but I am giving myself room to come down. I think the only thing it needs to be "perfect" is new shocks.

thanks again for the compliments

well, that's cool... I am looking for a 3rd gen as a daily driver for no more than $3000. A nice 88-92 IROC, RS or Z28 will be cool, I really like this one, but I cannot go more than that.

Anyway, love the wheels (as you know)

I would keep the hardtop car. I don't know if I'm crazy or what but I HATE t-tops. I want a hardtop. But then again I am wierd...I probably want a hardtop because its lighter. Considering I have already emptied my engine bay out...I have no comfort features lol. If you gonna do it you mid as well go ***** deep...

well my T Top has 30k miles less and just needs to be repainted. it already has 3" catback with 80s flowmasters. Hypertec chip. new rotors. calipers, pads and brake hoses and I just replaced all the shocks. The only thing that bothers me is the t-tops squeak. but when I sell the other car I will get Sub Frame connecters and a drop kit.

I love my T-Top car! Too bad it is the RS not the GTA. I miss the T-tops a lot now that it is summer. But I would rather cruise in a car with paint and a 350 than a primered 305 T-top car.

most people will say that for racing the body tends to flex much more then a car without them. They also say non-t-tops are lighter, when the t-tops are on.

I race my car as you know, I will be running in the 10's all day, and I have t-tops, I love them... Matter of opinion I guess...

Also, some hate them because some leak bad
