actually there is this chick around where i live that has the same spoiler, she has same color as flyin's car but the has a ram air 2 hood, and the spoiler is white.. not painted yet i guess

overall the car is in poor condition thou, but its got the same spoiler, ill try and get a pic of it if i see it drivin again

You guys are lucky to see modified third gen where you live. Around here, all I see is basically stock ones. Every now and then I see some with aftermarket rims and a cowl hood, but thats about it.

 

i saw 2 modified cars on my trip...with this being one of them and then 2 vettes, c3 and c4 having at it over on the south side of hossier state park. that was it for the entire 24 hrs i was driving. must say i thought michigan was lacking in custom cars, were swimming in them because you can't go a block without seeing one or a gas station.

To some it's worth every penny, and to some it's not worth a penny......Depends on which side you are looking from....

 

$259 aint bad at all.. heck I paid $500 for my WS6 spoiler, and it was worth every penny.

 

That $259.99 is money well spent when you consider the high speed stability and off the line traction that the wing will add.

Yes i have neons, I'll turn them on so you can see them while we are racing....

What neons do you have kandied? Those are one of the brightest ones I have ever seen.

 

There are 2 sets of neons on that car, 35 feet is one set IIRC

 

i use to have 3 sets.........


the ones in the picture are just a basic 4 tube car set from street glow. it's the gold series which is much brighter then most of the other companies i've played with. unfortunately the white light seemed to get really focused with the flash but they are extremely bright and work well. i was a little hesitant putting white neons on the car but after seeing them in person i love them over my red neons which i barely use anymore. i use to have gold on the car too since the paint changes to gold under yellow street lights but i decided 3 color sets was too much.

 

here is a red glow, the gold series by streetglow is really good quality and easy install.

 

just for the hell of it....here is the old gold set i had at one time. sorry for the picture being so washed out.

 

I personally think all those websites like www.laughatrice.com are lame. If those guys think they are so hot that they should take pics of peoples cars and mock them on the internet, how come we never see pics of their cars? I bet the ghetto crap they drive is worse than the stuff they are mocking. Waste of bandwidth.

he needs to fix his LCA angle before he takes it to the strip... right now, his wheels would just studder up and down and shake the crap out of the car.

 

I haven't taken it to a track yet, haven't had any spare time....

I'm hoping for low 12's, high 11's(wish) with the nitrous, considering I've shed nearly 300 pounds off the car.....

But as mentioned, The LCA angles on my car are horribly off right now, although the wheel hop seems to have a mind of it's own, sometimes it doesn't, but sometimes it gets really bad......

 

You may want to consider mixing in some traction aids once the LCA "angles" are corrected. I don't think 12's are gonna be a problem at all

 

with the wheels i'd say high 12's on the nitrous.

you may have dropped a good amount of weight but you've doubled it in rotational weight with the cast wheels.......

either way it should go alot faster then it did!

 

I can remove them for racing, I have salad shooters.....

 

watch those brakes....just be glad you aren't running 13's.

I guess i should have mentioned that this weekend or next weekend, I'm switching out the 75 jets to a 125 HP jetting for the nitrous....

With the upgraded jets, I'll be looking at roughly 420 HP to the rear wheels, should have no problem turning my horribly heavy wheels.....

mid 12's with some good traction and driving then on the spray would be good assuming everything is perfect.

 

150 HP jets and only 373 on the dyno and I would horribly reconsider swapping in the LS1.......:lala:

Traction is still an issue, so the spray doesn't get turned on until right before i shift into 2nd gear

I tried it out for the hell of it and sprayed the nitrous from a 10 mph roll at about 3,000 rpms in 1st gear, and with the 75 shot, the rear end kicked out and traction was not there......at all.....

 

this was with the smaller tire combo right? running 19's i'd be surprised if you could get it to hook anything lower then 25 mph.

I made the same mistake, and honestly, I would highly suggest that anyone who installs an aftermarket spoiler, 1st, get rid of the stock spoiler so there aren't two of them on there.......Makes it look better with only one spoiler....

I know because at first, I never removed the stock spoiler......
