ooopps i forgot to tlel everyone about my trip to autozone. I went there and asked the guys, "what is the best stuff you got to get rid of hard water spots on paint?" He said "down that isle, its Simple Green for Automotive Use." I picked it up and it was way cheaper then the other meguires stuff said before so i bought it. Came home, read the direction to see if it says dont use on paint, anything like that. It was cool. so i sprayed it on in a small spot to see if it removed the spots. BAMM after one whipe they were gone, liek that, in an instant.

I reccomend using this stuff, seemed to work great and its for use on boat gel coats also so i figured it would be ok on paint.

simple green is not safe on paint..........should have used a clay bar or some light polish compound. however, glad you got it fixed one way or the other. better be sure to use heavy amounts of wax now that you've opened up the clear coat.......that is if your car had clear coat.

the person that told you to use simple green on your paint needs to be beaten and dragged down the street.
