The funniest thing is that every single reply in that post is in favor of Third Gens and IROC-Z's. Which makes the poster look pretty stupid LOL, and most of them are 4th Gen owners! (one is even a M*stang owner!)

Although i must admit he does have an impressive engine, although i don't know what he runs, but i can tell you that it's not my fault his car looks like an oversized doorstop.....

I've got TWO 4th Gens sitting in my garage, and I hate that 3rd Gen stereotype. Seeing as how I bought two 3rd Gens new, I guess that makes me double white trash.

These "latecomers" whose first Camaro was a 4th Gen **** me off......it's like they think there were no Camaros before 1993. If the 4th Gen had been as successful as any of the previous three, there would be a 5th Gen NOW.

I've had a Camaro continuously since 1980.....a '68, then an '83 Z28, a '90 RS, and now my '99 Z28.

 

Eh, might as well throw my "white trash-mobile" on here too. Here ya go!

You all know damn good and well that if the tables were turned and the story went:

that this story would have never been told. Ok, so his "boosted" LT1 blew the doors off of a probably stock 3rd gen. Ohhhhhh, awwwww. In the wisdom filled words from Han Solo, "Don't get cocky kid!!!!"

The slug forgets one important fact. If it were not for the 3rd gen the 4thgen would not exist. All are too closely related to knock the other!!!

Still working on it, haven't had the time to touch up the paint on the front bumper yet, but otherwise it's in pretty nice condition on the outside.

The IROC-SS logo is a little annoying, since no such car ever existed, but whatever...

 

Ain't done yet, brother, but thanks for the thumbs up. I get a lot of local attention but the "style" does not really seem to be too popular with the folks on this site. Seems most are more into the "muscle" looks with the big hoods, etc. Not saying anyone bashed it. Just don't get too many compliments on here. I guess I just favor a more classic look, hence the project title "Classic Roc".

Sorry that not everyone is as fortunate as you. I work as a salesman for the largest used car lot in Cincinnati, I make good money and could afford a nice fourth gen. But I would rather save my money and drive an old third gen. Maybe someday when a nicer third gen or fourth gen come along I will hop on it. Until then, I am white trash and my bird couldn't even get lift off...

 

No offense to anyone that has an ls1 or lt1 fourth gen, im not trying to be stereotypical, but every ls1/lt1 fourth gen owner i know acts like he owns a mustang and that they cant loose too anyone. i would never drive a fourth gen f-body, i'll take white trash over that anyday!

ya thats just sad. Even my very mildly modded third gen (exhaust gears, port/polish heads thats it) will take a lt1 by a car length or two.

 

From what I hear Flrtin1 is all show and a little go. Not that I am bashing this car I really really like it and have met him in person, just i dont think it is fast as everyone thinks it is. I have seen his rear suspention in person and it is all stock. If I am wrong please say so, just going on what I have heard and seen.

ill gladly race that guys 4th gen lt1 once i get the lt1 in my iroc. Then he can make excuses like he forgot to shift or his foot slipped off the gas.

The third gen is a helluvalot better car, it is easier to mod than a 4th gen by far especially under the hood.

 

Even though my thirdgen looks like hell right now I enjoy driving it to car meets alot more than my '02!

Just a few more months and I can drive it with pride.

Not all 4th genners are morons though...
