thanks, and yes I don't have red interior anymore, it's now all black, much better...

Lowering..... BIG NO for me... I run a special exhaust system that sits VERY low, so if I lower the car ANY, it will not clear. I want to lower it sooo bad, 1-2" at least, however, as I said if I do, I cannot clear my dual exhaust.

That said, in the next few months, I will be re-doing my exhuast, at that time if I can run it better and clear more, I will drop it 2" for sure...

She is coming along, next up is 8 point roll cage, my 5 point red belts are in, mega shifter, got new hoiser slicks and spare wheels just a few days ago, new racing seats (black of course), and tons of motor up grades as well, top that list off with my 300 dual NOS kit to come soon.

I will be racing this up coming Saturday for the first time EVER!! I will post times next week, if all works out well. been waiting on my slicks and spare wheels, now that I have them, I will be testing and tunning this weekend on motor alone, I am hoping for 11's on motor, however who knows with Colorado and the high elevation. With the NOS set up, I will hit 10's for sure, if not high 9's, and if I don't well back to the drawing board for new plans until I hit 10's... However I am sure with the motor and NOS I will hit my desired goal of 10's... HE HE I cannot wait...

PS Not my first time racing ever, but the 91 Camaro's first time ever, I have been drag racing for 4 years... just wanted to clear that up some. :lala:

Sweet ride! .

Lose the SS emblems IMO. I think your car would look great with some black leather seats. Im in laredo, TX and gets about 103 here every day in the summer and running black leather aint too bad. Then again, my defination of tolerable is far from what anyone elses is after being a 11B . Love the paint!

Also, ever consider painting your headlight pockets black? I love that look personally.

Nope, sorry never seen that car, and I have seen just about every camaro in the area, never that one.

Hey, thanks guys on the comments and thanks Mark A Shields on the woman comment

She is coming along, and yes a drop would be nice, soon...

I am going post times when I get back this weekend, wish me luck!!

Again, thanks for the comments!!

PS I got the decals custom made at the local sign shop, cost me nothing, because the woman that owns the place wants my hog, so she hooks me up hoping one day I will give it to her (he he, NEVER!!!)

Sweet car, I prolly missed it "power scrolling" through the text but, what is the name of that color? it looks sweet.

Interior swap made one hell of a difference. I swapped from doeskin to black this winter, made it look awesome. all i need now is a black headliner, and a paintjob

keep it coming,

The color is red with an orangish tint, or color mix... I cannot remember the color name, but I asked for stock color and mixed it with orange tint... I love it, looks great!!!!

I got my slicks ready yesterday, I will be finally racing this weekend, will post pics and times when I can.

Thanks again guys, this is my baby and she is finally coming along.

I think the headlight pockets need to be black, too... oh, and I prefer the black door handles because when ppl paint the original ones, no matter how nice the paint is, it always says "painted it in the garage last weekend" to me...but that's just MHO.

You know what they say about opinions... There like @%#holes, every body has one....

I think painted headlight pockets and door handles say "custom" all the way, again, just my opinion.

Why have black door handles and light pockets like everyone else?? I like to be somewhat different and do what I like, which is what I did.

It sure was not "just painted in the garage last weekend" this is a very long custom work in progress.. However, I am sure you already know that.

lol you are right, that red interior in before shot was so prominant that I didn't see the new interior color, in that case I guess he couldn't take it either.

LOL... LOL AGAIN...

Sorry my brother, I am not Afircan American, I have MANY friends that are however. That picture you see is my buddy who does professional waxing on the side, I gave him a 12 pack of beer and he hooked me up. Sorry, I am as white as the come. Being in the army, most all of my friends are black (a small precent of them are white, very small). I like hanging with black people for some reason, they like 3rd gens around the Springs, and they all love racing (bullet bikes mostly).

Sorry to let you down, but I am just another white dude.

PS thanks again to you all, I cannot wait to post times with the great pics. I have since installed nice red R.J.S 5 point racing belts, they look great with the new black interior, they off set very well. I will also be painting the roll cage red to match, I think the color will again off set with the black nicely.

-THANKS-

Hey, if you can do photoshop of it lowered, then e-mail it to me and I will post it, that will be nice.
CAN ANYONE DO A PHOTOSHOP IF IT LOWERED 2" FOR ME??

--PLEASE--???

That would be 2 cool, I could get a good idea what it would look like, I am sure, however, it will look great lowered.

Also, I had no time to race last weekend, so I got everything ready for the morning, provided weather, and everything goes my way, I am off in the morning to run it (at high elevation, but at least I can get an idea and correct the times to sea level).

Times to come soon...

Noooo! Don't drop the woman! She looks best in the stock configuration!

On the next to last pic you posted, at first glance I thought, "OMG, that is the biggest third brake light on an 86 I have ever seen in my life!".............and then I realized it was the back of your cowl hood, resting on top of the car, LOL!

Car looks killer, you put some nice effort into it!

I like that, don't drop the woman, after reading that I really walked into that one...

nice

it all looks good, I like the wheels and paint, when you get the exhuast redone 1 or 2" drop would look good. Its up to you with the drop but I did the eibachs and I wouldn't go lower.

Ah, nice to see another green around the boards. Whats your MOS? I was a 11B for about 3 years, went to ft. benning for training, went to sniper school in fort benning (38/40 BRM baby!) and was stationed in benning lol. The hill was one hell of a party place there. I love colorado.
