17' Snyper question

I'm looking at the Snyper's in 17x9. My question is if anyone is running 275 40 17's all the way around? I did a quick search, and it almost looks like everyone is running 245 17's up front. I'dd like to use 275's, for the looks, as well as rotating reasons. If I'm forking out large $ for large tires, I want to rotate them every 5000 or so to make the things last. Any ideas or anyone running 275's? Thanks.

I really thought about running 275 all the way around but I really didn't want to have to worry about rubbing. Nothing like forking out a lot of green for tires that turn out to rub. I went with 255/40/r17 in the front and 275/40/r17 in the rear.

I run a 245/45 up front with my 17x9 snypers but I have room for a 275. If you want a compromise look at a 255. I have the sportline drop as well without any rubbing.

Check sig for pics.

You can run 275 all around no problems. You'd have to roll the front fender just a bit to ensure no rubbing, but it's been done by lots of people, even CHP did it when they did the suspension mods to the 92(?) camaro.

I run 275/40s all around with minimal problems. In the front it only rubs when you turn completely in one direction or the other. This only becomes a problem in parkinglots and such other wise no problems. Mine are 0mm off set all around.

As I said before I went with 17x9s all the way around and wrapped them in 255/40/R17 in the front and 275/40/R17 in the rear. I have had ZERO rubbing or fitment issues running this setup.

If you are going to buy them new, you might as well get 17x9 front and rear... I just put my new 285/40-17s Kumho MXs on the rear and moved my 275/40-17s to the front.... And whenever I get my new wheels, I am going with 18x9s in the front and 18x10s on the rear with 275/35s and 295/35s

Skulte Performance, Skulte.com. Was going to go JD Wheels, had them pretty well ordered. Then talked to Andris at Skulte, same price, but a much more personal transaction. Your not just a number or a sale, but a valued customer. Switched to Skulte.
On a side note, I had a minor problem with my rims, nothing big, but I called Andis anyway (I'm very picky with my car). He cleared it up ASAP. Was very happy, and very impressed. Definetly happy I dealt with Skulte, would do it again, and highly recommend him.

Currently trying to sell my Snypers. They are 17X8's with Sumihoto HRZ 245/45/17's. One rim has a small nick near the center that was there when I bought them from JD. Looking for something chrome in 17's or 18's for trade also. My car is down and will not be running for at least another year.

I have pics I can send in a email. let me know.
