I'm pretty sure the smallest size they have is a 9.5" wide. If you're gonna go 18's get the 9.5" for the fronts and the 10.5" for the rear. If 17's, theres only one choice i think and thats 17x9.5's. btw, if you decide on the 18's, i'm selling mine that are brand new for a good price.

well i heard alot about 10.5's in the back with the 18's and that it rubs with hard acceleration or if people are sitting in the back also take in to mind that im going to be dropping my car 1-2 inces
the back isn't the problem, it's the front and even neither is bad depending on your drop and where your adapters put your backspacing/offset.
i had 18 9.5/10.5 and it worked out alright, took alot of work to get just the right offsets but i later got rid of them because i couldn't lower the car as much as i wanted.
17's are available in 8.5 and 9.5. anywhere between 8 and 9 is more then fine for the front and anything between 8-11 is fine for the rear depending on the drop with 10's being about as wide as you would want to go with a real extended drop and not need major modifications.
i'd either go 17's with the 8.5/9.5 front/rear combo or the 18's in the 9.5/10.5 setup.
here is a picture to show the two side by side....you should be able to tell which is which. either way if you stick to either 17's or 18's it will look fine, go with an 17/18 setup and it looks out of place.
good luck.

i'm gonna say something like a 255/40 or 245/40 in the front and a 295/35 in the rear. Thats what i was gonna use. Since you're in DE, if you plan on ordering the 18's, come take a look at my set before ordering them.

I'm actually trying to sell mine right now cause i'm actually gonna be ending my project. I've never mounted this wheels and would like to sell them local to avoid shipping. They are still in the box and in teh wrapping.
18s look better , esp if you show your car , then deffy go with 18s. I would have to bet that 17s will handle better b/c they have more sidewall than the 18s. But id go with 18s. thats what i went with .

I have personally disaprove of 18s and above on any third gen.
I have yet to ride in one that is comfortable, and more importantly predictable.
Thoses riveted z06 replicas are pretty sweet in 17.
Someone buy them already and post pics.

18's only ride worst because of the low profile tires people get. If you get low profile tires on a 16" wheel, it'll ride uncomfortable too. As far as predictablilty, i'll say the 18's may make it worst, but not that much. 18's look way better than the 17's though which is what i think they're after.
I think the opposite of those on the boards, I think that a thirdgen needs a wheel at least 17" big......
.....that's another debate
But to this thread, i agree with Kandied, you may want to re-consider putting 18x9.5 wheels in the front
18x8 will be perfect

if they made 18x8 or even 18x.5 or 18x9 being max i probably would have kept mine. 9.5 in the front just doesn't cut it for lowered cars.
as far as ride though, the only thing i see different is cost and weight. my 18's rode just as nice as my 16 and handled better through turns although i could have bought my rims and tires for the price of one 18" tire.

it's true lower profile tires are harder on the suspension since there is less give for bumps but they aren't that bad if your suspension is good. if you wanted a smooth ride you wouldn't have bought a camaro. you just have to evaluate your needs and go from there.
