Here's the steps I used:

1.Welded in metal.

2.Covered the underside in por15.

3 Filled with bondo.

4.Covered with about 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint, and one more of primer.

My antenna now resides in the passenger fender, where it belongs...

FlynLow, I just realized the mentioning of a supercharger at the bottom of your sig. Are you keeping the nitrous if you go through with the supercharger? How far do you plan on going hp-wise with the ls1? It doesnt worry you to put nitrous and boost on your new $10,000 install? Sorry to jack my own thread and all

I just bent one of the tabs on the bottom of my old driver's side fender back and forth with a pair of pliers until it fell off. Then I beat it flat with a hammer, simple as that.

Dirtbik3r, I bent the antenna and just pushed it's mounting assembly down and positioned it so that it could bend and sit in the passenger fender area, I live in the city, so it works....

123jon321, .........I will downgrade the NX to a lower shot.....What HP am i looking for? Over 500RWHP to the rear wheels......I'll discuss details once it's done....
