It wasn't too bad...there are a few spots where there are needle holes and a good portion of it you can see sanding marks when you are really close. A high build primer would have gotten rid of almost all the imperfections.

Color looks great So im guessing you did all the body work yourself? What grit sandpaper did you use to sand the car down and what did you go up to?

We used everything from 80 grit on the rusty areas behind the ground effects up to 320 for the whole car. Most of the work was done with 120 and 220 though. If I was going to do it again, which I am on the firebird next month, we aren't going to use 120 grit at all, it left way to many sanding marks that we couldn't get rid of. I also recomend using high build primer to cover up some of the imperfections. I had pinholes in some of the bondo work that you couldn't see until after it was painted but a high build primer would have take care of it.

Fixed the sticky throttle today, I think the brake smoking was a direct result of the brakes having to fight the engine to stop. I used almost a whole can of throttle body cleaner, it was really really dirty and sticky.

The firebird is gettin closer too, I am gonna have all of my cars done before you finish yours, lol.
