quick question on tire to rim fitment

Axle/Gears: Stock
quick question on tire to rim fitment
Will a 185/60r15 fit on a 4" wide rim?
Also, does anyone know if a 15"x6" rim with 3.5" backspacing will fit in the front of our cars? I know a 15"x4" rim with 1 5/8" backspacing will work, but if that tire doesnt fit on the rim size, I need the next size up. Thanks for any and all help
