ford and chevy mix fine man. If you have a ford and you install chevy parts you are fixing the car. why do you think the ford guys are so quick to drop a chevy motor in their cars.

Well, anyone? Do I need spacers, or will they bolt right up?

I don't even know the bolt pattern. If you know they'll bolt on - I'm sure you can get some spacers milled for a little coin...

I still wish someone would answer this, I think they are scared to give you the OK to put Crustang wheels on your car

I thought the ford bolt pattern was only 4 lugs. Why not look for some 17x9.5 used vette rims. You will then need wheel adapters for them ,like I did. Ford is good for 1 thing, 9inch rears!

The Mustang finally cahnged to 5 lugs in '96 I believe. I'd like Corvette GS wheels, but I'd like to see them first.

I just sold some SS wheels, because I cannot afford spacers or 17" tires. I want the corbra 16" wheels, and I am hoping I don't need spacers.

Does anyone know?
Will they fit?

Ford is now good for 2 things, 9" rear and corbra wheels. Those wheels look so dam good

rustangs changed their bolt pattern in 94 to five lug. trust me i used to be a mustang lover. now i am born again. but far as i knwo the bolt pattern even though it is 5 lug wont fit on our cars. we have a screwed up bolt pattern atleast that is what ever tire place has told me. that is all i know

possibly....when I was looking around at wheels I found http://www.performancewheeloutlet.com/ which has wheels for vettes, stangs, camaros and TAs...If you look under the corvette section they have a wheel called "milan" I believe which appears to be the cobra-r wheel renamed for chevy owners...it says it fits vettes, camaros and TAs, which probably means 4th gens, which means you would need spacers? Under the mustang section they have the same wheel but called cobra-r wheels and they say they fit ford products.

yay! 100 posts

Just to anwser my own question, they will not fit, unless I get spacers. Thanks everyone. Performance wheel outlet e-mailed me and said no, they will not fit.

Check out www.groupawheels.com. I ordered some 17x9" wheels that have the skinny five spoke design to show off your rotors. i have had MANY, MANY compliments on them since the day I bought them. Go to the ROH section and look down the list of wheels. The Snyper style would probably be the thing you're looking for if you like the cobra wheels. And if you don't want 17", I believe they have 16" available.

I should not want a Ford product on my car? WTF????????
If it looks good, you can't deniy it!
Just because we compeat with Ford mustangs, does not mean their wheels suck?

I happen to know alot of mustangs out their that look good and run good.

Now I am a BIG GM fan, but their is nothing wrong with the Ford Mustangs.

Why would I not put it on my car? Unless Ford wheels have a bad habbit of breaking, then I could see everyones point, but they are good looking wheels (they look just as good if not better than the SS AND WS6 wheels) so I don't care if it's Ford or GM.

Nuff said

I would imagine an expensive way to convert to the Pusstang wheels, which I happen to like also, would be to get custom hubs made. Like if you were to get Baer brakes have them drill the set for Ford bolt pattern, and for the rear get some axels drilled for ford also. It would be really expensive but it is just a suggestion. Oh and I absolutely HATE Mustangs but the wheels look ok.

I was thinking of the same thing
I loved those wheels ever since I saw them on the 'Stang in Summit!
If you find anything out about fitting a 3rd. Gen., let me know.
Thanks,
Gary
