Laquer thinner...or better yet, take it back to the shop and give them a chance to fix it instead of griping about it. When you stare at a car all day long, sometimes small things will get by. I am sure they would be more than willing to take care of it for you.

that was a very educated and well thought-out response... are you sure you're supposed to be on thirdgen.org?

I'm sorry the steve if I hurt feelings. I was simply saying that if you do not give them a chance to fix it then you can hardly be angry. Actually, yes it is an educated response, I have been doing body work and paint for more than 10years, laquer thinner would work better than acetone. I am also fairly sure the shop would like the chance to fix it, if they tell him to buzz off and won't fix it, then you can call them a "ma-roon"

whoa.. you took that all wrong.

i was paying you a compliment on your post... and commenting on how it didn't seem to fit in here because hardly anyone else seems to look at things sensibly around here.

the first part was not meant to be sarcastic.. just the second part.

Feel free to chastise me if we ever meet in person. consider this a written, public apology.

yeah, because with four drivers and six jobs and three cars we can really afford to send it back to the body shop AGAIN.

Is my typing really that bad? Being compared to therckid, that is harsh. Most of the time I have no idea what that guy is saying.

I think they are talking about the two oposing ends of the intellectual spectrum, however they sometimes have the same effect.

I must say I regard your statement impertinent, although I do admire your honesty and integrity. Nevertheless, I find it arduous to pursue correct syntax on this forum.

So how long did it take you to look those up? You just might want to double check the meanings next time around.

lol, got no clue what it means... It sounded smart though. especially through microsoft word's thesaurus. hehe.

imperinent = rude or impolite
integrity= truthfullness or honesty
arduous= hard/difficult
syntax= sentence structure/grammar

There ya go!

It is seriously a matter of minutes, just stop buy when you are in the area, and they should be able to take care of it right there for you.
