Windshield Cracks

I have a "bullseye" type of crack in my windshield. It's just a small round blob, not really a crack. It feels smooth on both the outside and inside of the glass.

Will it get worse, as in form into a crack, or expand outward ?

I hope I can just leave it alone.

Thanks

Alot of places will repare cracks. They use some glue and a little UV light to cure it. Cheap and prevents the crack from expanding.

I would recommend getting it repaired ASAP. You can do it yourself ("kits" are sold at parts stores) or you can pay someone else to do it. Many times your insurance will pay for the repairs.

While not a "bullseye" crack, I had a small 1/2" crack. One morning, there was frost on the windshield so I put the defroster on and went back inside. 10 minutes later, that 1/2" crack turned into an 18" crack.

I work for a auto glass shop in Milwaukee...You dont have to worry about it if it is JUST the round bullseye with no cracks comming out of it. If you just want it to look better, than get it repaired. It should cost $40-$50.
