Top Dollar?
This is to satisfy my own curiosity.... what is the most that you guys would and actually could afford to pay for a cleanly modified, or stock for that matter, third gen? Just wondering because third gen owners aren't the most financially gifted people, or so the stereotype says.
i'd tell you how much i have into mine but then i'd have to kill you....only stock one i'd buy would have to be prestine by my own eyes. most of the good or "mint" condition vehicles really aren't so.

I payed 4,000 for mine. I used to think mine was mint untill this one pulled up next to me, 1988 GTA with 7,500 miles. 305 5sp, leather, digidash, and orig tires. He wants 12,000 for it. I had to chuckle though when he listed "Recaros" as one of the features.
I told him that those seats are sweet, way more features than mine but no, they are not Recaro. Judges didt care, lol he took a first and rightfully so.

I paid $5500 for mine about 7-8 years ago...bone stock all original except tires and battery, only had 63K miles on it.
The value of the very clean low milage originals seem to be increasing in value as of late.

I wouldn't let mine go for any less than 6K:
Whether there is anybody on the planet who would pay that matters not to me. It ain't for sale. I got it for $2800 a month ago.
