Looks great under the hood. I know you'll probably get crap from the stock ****'s, but I like what you did with the wheels.

nope, hoping to get at least 1k miles on it by september 10th, and then im gonna take her to the track and see what shes got.. im hoping at least 13s.. my only thgin is im runnign the stock t5, so i cant be dumping the clutch off the line or else ill have some not so nice looking gears int he bottom of my tranny so ill have to do a roll off the line and punch it so.. it definatly has potential, but my tranny si the weaklink.. it has MAD top end though so it should be a problem.. ill definatly post up times after i run.

i completely agree with Firebird 383, the wheels look nice. idk why, but i like them.

hopefully i can have that feeling of having my car back after a long period of time. but with the plans i have for it, i dont think ill get that feeling. till then ill just have to keep on biking

awesome car, its everything i wanted to do with my car, except i want a 6 speed

Well as far as the wheels go, i think im the only one here who has them setup like this.. the wheels are not mint, if they were... well nevermind, id paint them black anyways! f u stock ***** nah im kiddin, i just love the way black wheels look on some cars, im hooked on the look and i like to be unique with it, and it doesnt hurt my cars looks so, ill definatly keep them. As far as why i did it, well i didnt wanna spend the money for new rims, and these have some curb rash on them from previous owners, so i figured well ill do something new.. and the front right rim was bent, so right now theres an older style rim on it (ones with single stripes iirc 86iroc rims) so it mismatched, but with them painted black you cant even tell, so i think it definatly was worth it..

as a matter of fact, im getting ready to strip them again and repaint them with duplicolors new rim paint, and theyll turn out way better.. and im also going to polish up the lip edge a bit to bring the life up a bit.

Thanks for the kind words

You like that cam? I was thinking about going with that or the hr270xe after I get a set of vortecs...or whatever heads I end up with. I'm running auto so I will probably need a stall to....damn manuals

Hmm...I am almost tempted to paint my single strip IROC "winter" wheels black...hmmm

I like the cam yea, its big, but not too big to where you cant drive it normal you know.. it definatly has a REALLY nice lope to it, so im more than pleased with it. 270 with auto might be a tad too big wouldnt you think? guess it matters if its an every day driver or not.

Its a daily driver. The 270s power band is like 1400-5400 or so If I remember correctly. Which seems about right for me. I would definetly need a stall though. I may just get the 268 I'm not sure yet,.

Looks good, I wouldn't worry about the tranny too bad. It's gonna die sometime, but I doubt it just scatters all over the road the first time you pop the clutch. My first T5 lasted a year and got to where it would get stuck in gear and wouldn't shift. Nothing major, just needs to be freshened up. The one I put in it now has well over 100k miles on it and shifts better than the rebuilt on ever did. I am not easy on it either. Good luck.

Motor is definately fitting for a muscle car, not to mention looking nicely uncluttered even with A/C. Glad to see you have it back and running.

Lookin' goon - that's a sweet shot of your car, it really shows the true body of that hood. Have fun breaking that bad boy in

BTW; are you going to paint a small portion of your front lower gfx black like in your sig? I've only seen it on that Japanese Camaro. You should try it out before you paint your car, so if it looks nasty you're not stuck with it
