Using ZAINO and 3M Glaze????

Using ZAINO and 3M Glaze????
Hey guys I got some questions. I am entering my car in a car show in a few days and I want it to look as good as possible. I have been using Zaino only on my paint for the last year. But I bought some 3M hand glaze yesterday and I have some questions.
1. Is it ok to use the glaze with zaino?
2. Should I use zaino before or after I glaze?
3. What exactly does a glaze do.
By the way I don't want to strip off all my zaino because I have too much on the car. I did test the glaze on my rear ground effect piece and it looked awesome!! But I would like to know more about it before I do the whole car.
